wiflow doesn't work!

Hello, so I hacked my wii and I have wiiflow but when I put a usb key in the wii in the wiiflow settings I can't manage to set wbfs it says usb1.thanks to whoever can help me

Are you talking about an External hard drive or a USB key (what capacity is your key?)

wiiflow would tell you if the cios was missing and your key is detected otherwise you wouldn't have usb1 as a choice. Explain to us how you prepared your key.

wifliw lui signalerait l'absence de cios et ta clé est détecté sinon tu n'aurais pas usb1 en choix. Explique nous comment tu as préparé ta clé.

and then I downloaded the game.

once usb1 is selected, go back to the Wii menu and relaunch Wiiflow either with the permanent Wiiflow channel, or through the Homebrew channel, then wiiflow!
there Wiiflow should launch and reach the games menu.

une fois selectionner USB1, retourne sur le menu Wii et relance Wiiflow soit avec la chaine permanente Wiiflow, soit en passant par la chaine Homebrew, puis wiiflow!
là Wiiflow doit se lancer et arriver sur le menu des jeux.

I had the same issue as you one day
and I solved it like this

Change the USB Key's USB port

it's a dumb thing, but it worked for me

j'ai u la meme couille que toi un jour
et je l'ai résolu comme ca

Change la Clef USB de port USB

c'est un bête truc, mais pour moi ca a marché

well no exactly I don't see it it's only on the right side. but I'm struggling to convert rar to iso maybe that's why.

ben non justement je le voit pas il est que du coter droit.mais je galere a convertir du rar en iso c'est peux etre pour sa.

I'll give you a Technique:

Extract the Rar file
You'll get something like
JEU MARIO ET SONIC.iso

you open WBFS Manager
and you load the ISO file

sure with the rar you're going to struggle

Décompresse le fichier Rar
Tu aura un truc du style
JEU MARIO ET SONIC.iso

tu ouvre WBFS Manager
et tu charge le fichier ISO

c'est sur qu'avec le rar tu va avoir du mal

I believe WBFS manager only handles WBFS partitions
and you partitioned in FAT32
so it's normal that it doesn't work

use WiiBackupManager instead

il me semble que WBFS manager ne gere que les partitions WBFS
et toi tu a partionner en FAT32
donc normal que ca ne marche pas

utilise plutot : WiiBackupManager

but if your key is only 2go it would be better to switch it to wbfs, because iso backups are bigger and bulkier than wbfs backups

mais si ta clé ne fait que 2go il serait preferable de la passer en wbfs, car les bacukup iso sont plus gros et volumineux que les backup en wbfs

I think I can't manage to decompress the games to iso, I have them in wii and in rar and as soon as I decompress it it says it's empty.

je croit que j'arrive pas a decompressez les jeux en iso je les est en wii et en rar et des que je decompresse sa met que c'est vide.

use wiibackupmanager, it will decompress it for you

utilise wiibackupmanager, il le décompressera pour toi

That said, keep in mind that some usb keys just like some usb drives are incompatible with usb loaders whatever they are because it's the cios that handles compatibility.

M'enfin, il faut garder en tête que certain clé usb tout comme certain usb sont incompatible avec les usbloader quelqu’il soit car c'est le cios qui fait la compatibilité.

edit: and also there's no way to check what this file actually contains without decompressing it despite the file name which proves nothing.
