Need help for a Wii 4.1E

Hello everyone
So I'll allow myself to ask you for help because it's been 2 years since I touched my wii or followed the news (yeah 2 years of exams will do that)
So here's my problem: two years ago I installed the HBC 1.0.1 and a backup channel. Everything worked until today when my sister asks me to play "Just dance 2". It doesn't work so I think I must not be up to date anymore. I remember I had done everything via Pimp my wii.

My question: should I update to 4.2 or 4.3? / or should I update the rest?

I can't find the answer or what I need to do. I'm leaving tomorrow morning, that's why I'm asking for your help.

But when I reach the "Install ios 236" step I can't find it, it doesn't show up.

start by connecting your wii to the net (no update huh!!?? ^^) then launch hbc, it should offer you an update to 1.08, accept it. As for your game it's possible you're missing a few ios but if you did a pimp recently (although I no longer recommend it) I doubt it. I'm thinking more of a too old cios or simply not the right cios used.

commence par connecter ta wii au net (pas de maj hein!!?? ^^) puis lance hbc, il devrait te proposer une maj vers la 1.08 accepte la. Pour ce qui est de ton jeu possible que'il te manque quelques ios mais si tu as fait un coup de pimp (bien que je ne le conseil plus) récent j'y crois pas. je pense plutôt à un cios trop vieux ou tout simplement pas le bon cios utilisé.

then actually you follow the hack 4.3 tutorial, you just won't have to install hbc

j'avais pas vu le message de mamule, il est mieux détaillé. oui maj officiel juste après maj hbc
puis en faite tu suis le tuto hack 4.3, tu n'auras seulement pas hbc à installer

If you have priiloader, disable the hack (online update block).

Si tu as le priiloader , désactive le hack ( blocage mise a jour en ligne).

So I tried again today but still nothing.
On my SD card that I used 2 years ago I have Priiloader 0.5 beta3, but it seems to me I never used it. How do I know/remove priiloader?

I found somewhere someone who managed to get around the error by inserting an original game (wii sports) and launching the update from the game when it asks for it.
Is that possible? I read that you should really never launch an update from a game, I'd rather ask for confirmation

j'ai trouvé quelque part quelqu'un qui a réussi a contourner l'erreur en insérant un jeux original (wii sports) et en lancant la MAJ depuis le jeu quand il le demande.
C'est possible ? j'ai lu qu'il fallait surtout pas lancer de MAJ à partir d'un jeux je préfère demander confirmation

wii sport resort must be on 4.2 I think but many advise against updating via dvd because sometimes it bricks but on a clean wii

to be sure to remove all trace of hack from the system menu you can download the 4.1E wad matching your wii and install it with wad manager.
then test an update via the net

de toute façon, visiblement tu ne va pas avoir le choix.
pour être sur supprimer toute trace de hack sur le menu system tu peux télécharger le wad du 4.1E qui correspond à ta wii et l'installer avec wad manager.
puis teste une maj via le net
