you need to download it on a usb port but I don't see how to access that on my wii (bought recently, black one)...

Hello.
Following this tutorial, I run into a bug when formatting my drive (I have a 500 gig one I just got), because the software won't format it for me and shows the message: "An error occurred while attempting to format".
Unfortunately I can't play the games I want without going through the disk formatting.
What should I do please?

try again, since there can be several causes for your issue
