Quick reminder: ps3 flat 80 Go, CFW3,55Kmeaw, Multiman 3.16.13.base
I finally managed (thanks Arnauto) to install game folders on an external HDD.
However, only 1 works with a BD in the drive (crysis 2 from the external HDD with BD inserted).
The others, whether I copy them only to the Internal HDD, whether I launch them from the external HDD, whether or not I put the BD in the drive, it always shows the error 80010009, and I'm forced to go back to the xmb .
This error doesn't appear in the list made by Arnauto.
So, any idea?
Could it be because the games aren't up to date (read on other forums), but I haven't set up internet on the ps3 to avoid any update.
Do I need to change the eboot file?

J'ai enfin réussi ( merci Arnauto) à installer des dossiers de jeux sur HDD externe.
Or, 1 seul fonctione avec BD dans le lecteur (crysis 2 depuis le HDD exeterne avec BD inséré).
Les autres, que je les copies que sur le HDD Interne, que je les lance depuis le HDD externe, que je mette ou non le BD dans le lecteur, il s'affiche toujours l'erreur 80010009, et je suis obligé de revenir sur la xmb .
Cette erreur ne figure pas sur la liste faite par Arnauto.
Alors, une idée ?
Est-ce que ça viendrait du fait que les jeux ne sont pas à jour (lu sur d'autres forums), mais je n'ai pas mis internet sur la ps3 pour éviter toute maj.
Faut-il changer le fichier eboot ?

The thing is, I have nothing in bluetooth!
Unless it's the controller since I don't use the usb cable, but I doubt it.
I connect the ps3 directly to the living room's SONY flat screen via HDMI cable...
No headset, the external HDD is on usb cable...

Is there a way to disable bluetooth because as I already said, I was given this console but not the manual. Plus the colleague who gave it to me, he understands even less than me ( so he must be at -1 ).

you need the 3.55 fix!! it's a 3.56 game the game works with a bd in the drive (MP )

ta besoin du fix 3.55 !! c'est un jeu 3.56 le jeu marche avec un bd dans le lecteur (MP )

je me souviens que j'avais pas de soucis avec le backup !! maintenant j'ai le jeu original je peu pas t'aider regarde la si sa peu aider : jeux-ps3/backup-de-gt5-t6720.html

I'd like to know, when I put all the MULTIMAN 1.16.15 BASE folders and files at the root of the USB key, I just accepted the .pkg file's install;
I saw there were also 2 .rar folders:
- BDMENU-auto installer.rar containing BDEMUN-355KM.pkg and BDMENU-355WT.pkg
- multiMAN [EBOOT FIX].rar containing a folder ps3 with inside 153 files and 20 other files including the ebootfix.exe and ebootmod.exe.
I thought everything would be installed automatically with MULTIMAN
As Salahpayne now recommends I need to install BDMENU and EBOOT FIX.
But didn't these two progs get installed directly when I put MULTIMAN,
or do I have to decompress them, put them at the root of the USB key and enter them?
If that's the case, do I put them in RECOVERY mode or just the R3 button?
Argh grumble grumble, this is getting complicated
And to think Crysis 2 works fine .....

just for fun I just put Tiger Woods 2011 on the external HDD.
And well it works!
For the rest we're still at the same point....

Je voudrais savoir, lorsque j'ai mis tous les dossiers et fichiers de MULTIMAN 1.16.15 BASE à la racine de la clé USB,puis je n'ai fait qu'accepter l'instal du fichier .pkg ;
J'ai vu qu'il y avait aussi 2 dossiers .rar :

Since unfortunately my research and other attempts aren't giving anything better, can I install Rogero or Gaia to see if that changes anything?
And if I install them, do I need to remove Multiman, or can I put several on the same ps3 without any problem

no of course you can put as many homebrews as you want at the same time but that won't solve your problem, give me a game you're currently having a problem with? GT5 for example?
non bien sur tu peut mettre autant d'homebrews que tu le souhaite en même temps mais ceci dit ca ne résoudra pas ton problème, donne moi un jeu avec lequel tu a un problèmes actuellement ? GT5 par exemple ?

no I don't want you to send it to me when I said "give me" I meant "give me the name" of a game, because for some you need a patch for it to work, in short even if you have the original eboot and you're on CFW 3.55 kmeaw or other, the game won't start because it would need a fix or a patch, luckily that only concerns a few games, so I'm pretty sure you're having problems with those specific games, so make me a list of the games you're having problems with and I'll send you back links that'll work to get you out of this!!!
mais non je ne veux pas que tu me l'envoie quand je disait "donne moi" je voulait dire "donne moi le nom" d'un jeu, parce-que pour certain il faut un patch pour qu'il fonctionne, en résumé même si tu a l'eboot d'origine et que tu es en CFW 3.55 kmeaw ou autre, le jeu ne démarra pas car il aurait besoin d'un fix ou d'un patch, heureusement ça ne concerne que certains jeux uniquement, donc je suis quasi sur que tu a des problèmes avec ces jeux là, alors fait moi une liste des jeux avec lesquels tu rencontre des problèmes et je te renvoie sur des liens qui vont bien pour pouvoir te sortir de là !!!

So this time I'm going into detailed details:
All these games are launched with the blue ray Burnout Paradise in the drive without which nothing works. They're only installed on the external HDD because after installing them on the Internal HDD one by one, nothing worked.
Here's the list:
1 - GT5: asks to be installed on the Internal HDD. Once that's done, black screen. Have to turn off the ps3 ( red light) and restart.
2 - F.E.A.R. 2; black screen, whether I start from the cd icon or */app home/PS3_GAME from the xmb. Turn off the ps3 (red light) and restart.
3 - MOTO GP 10/11: error 80010009 whether I start from cd icon or */app_home... and back to the xmb.
4 - NASCAR 2011: error 80010017 - which would be "Can't start blue ray game" or "unreadable blue ray game", whether I start from cd icon or */app_home... and back to the xmb.
5 - Shift 2 Unleashed: whether I start from icon or */app_home... black screen. Have to turn off the ps3 ( red light) and restart ps3.
6- Test Drive Unlimited 2: whether I start from cd icon or */app_home... error 80010009 and back to the xmb.
--As I keep repeating, Crysis 2 and Tiger Wood 11 installed on the external HDD run perfectly without me changing anything.
If you can get me out of this mess, I'll go light a candle at the Bonne Mère!

Tous ces jeux sont lancés avec le blue ray Burnout Paradise dans le lecteur sans quoi rien ne marche. Ils sont uniquement installés sur le HDD externe car après les avoir installés sur HDD Interne un par un, rien ne fonctionnait.
Voila la liste :
1 - GT5 : demande d'être installé sur le HDD Interne. Lorsque c'est fait, écran noir. Obligé d'éteindre la ps3 ( voyant rouge) et redémarrage.
2 - F.E.A.R. 2 ; écran noir, que je démarre sur l'icone du cd ou */app home/PS3_GAME de la xmb. Eteindre la ps3 (voyant rouge) et redémarrage.
3 - MOTO GP 10/11 : erreur 80010009 que je démarre sur icone cd ou */app_home... et retour sur la xmb.
4 - NASCAR 2011 : erreur 80010017 - qui serait " Can't start blue ray game" ou "jeu blue ray illisible", que je démarre sur icone cd ou */app_home... et retour sur la xmb.
5 - Shift 2 Unleashed : que je démarre sur icone ou */app_home... écran noir. Obligé d'éteindre la ps3 ( voyant rouge) et redémarrage ps3.

hi,so it's simple you retry each game with multiman but when you select your game you press select and cross at the same time and you say ok to whatever multiman asks ,for shift 2 it's normal because it's a game that requires fw 3.60,so you need to modify the eboot.bin(one of the files present in the game,replace it with another one I'm going to link in 10min )

salut,alors c'est simple tu refait un éssais de chaque jeu avec multiman mais quand tu selectionne ton jeu tu appuie sur select et croix en méme temps et tu fait ok a ce que te demande multiman ,pour shift 2 c'est normal car c'est un jeu qui demande le fw 3.60,il faut donc modifier l'eboot.bin(un des fichiers présent dans le jeu,le remplacer par un autre que je vais mettre en lien dans 10mn )

- F.E.A.R. 2: IT WORKS!
- Nascar 2011: error 80010017
- MOTO GP 10/11: error 8001009
- Test Drive Unlimited 2: error 8001009
- Shift 2 Unleashed: although you told me it needed fw 3.60, I launched it and it's asking me to install it on the internal HDD. I didn't continue for fear it would install that fw and block everything. But there's some progress.
- GT5: since it needs to be installed on the internal HDD and mom wants to watch tv, I'll do it tomorrow.
Well yeah, women, you gotta give them a bit of air if you don't want them squeezing us too much.

ok so for shift 2 it's simple you must have had the backup already modified because if you managed to install it it's ok(at least I think )but no worries it only installs game data but careful there's a ps3 update folder in the game,if it's still there delete it(as a precaution because I don't know which update it is,because in games you sometimes find ps3 updates like 3.60....),check it out!!!I'll look into the rest

As Arnauto told me, I removed the UPDATE folder in SHIFT 2 and miracle, it works!. Here's a tip that might help others.
So, I removed all the UPDATE files on the other games that had an error, but that didn't change anything.
Tomorrow, a buddy is bringing me another controller in case the 80010009 error comes from there -which I don't believe for a second-
For Nascar, yes it's the english version, I hadn't even noticed since it wasn't launching. So I'm going to hunt for the right patch even though it's not a game I was particularly after. It was mostly to try.
For GT5, I don't even know what the "hermes spoof 3.50/3.55" is, same for the "multiman permission fix" for TDU2.
I'll look into it and give it a try.
For this last game, I got hold of an eboot supposedly 3.55, but I put it on a usb key... that I can't find anymore
Anyway, I'll keep you posted

Comme me l'a dit Arnauto, j'ai enlevé le dossier UPDATE dans SHIFT 2 et miracle, ça marche !. Voila un truc qui pourra servir à d'autres.
Du coup, j'ai enlevé tous les fichiers UPDATE sur les autres jeux qui avaient une erreur, mais cela n'a rien changé.
Demain, un pote doit m'amener une autre manette au cas ou l'erreur 80010009 vienne de là -ce que je ne crois pas une minute-
Pour Nascar, c'est bien la version anglaise, j'avais même pas vu puisqu'il ne se lançait pas. Je vais donc me mettre en chasse du patch adéquat même si ce n'est pas un jeu que je recherchais particulièrement. C'était surtout pour essayer.
Pour GT5, je sais même pas ce qu'est le "hermes spoof 3.50/3.55", tout comme le "fix permission de multiman" pour TDU2.
Je vais chercher et j'essayerai.

I have the patch for nascar but well if it's just for a test...
the update file has nothing to do with shift working,it's just for people who don't have internet at all to be able to update their console and play with the game,so you have a backup of shift 2 already modified .
for gt5 we had trouble launching it but that was back in the days of dongles (ps3key for example)and fw 3.50(no cfw yet at the time) hence the hermes spoof etc.... since then it should run fine unless you have an old backup of the game that would still need to be modified to run on 3.41,you'd need the original to test otherwise at worst I'll give you the eboot.bin and sfo that I have on mine.I'll prepare you a little pack tomorrow with what you need for nascar and gt5

le fichier update n'a rien a voir avec le fonctionnement de shift,c'est juste pour les personnes qui n'ont pas du tout internet de pouvoir mettre leur console a jour et jouer avec le jeu,tu as donc un backup de shift 2 déja modifié .
pour gt5 on avait des problème pour le lancer mais c'était a l'époque des dongles (ps3key par exemple)et du fw 3.50(pas encore de cfw a l'époque) d'ou le spoof dhermes etc.... depuis il doit tourner sans problème sauf si tu as un ancien backup du jeu qui doit encore étre modifier pour tourner sur du 3.41,il te faudrait l'original pour tester sinon au pire je te donnerai l'eboot.bin et sfo que j'ai sur le mien.je te prépare un petit pack demain avec ce qu'il te faut pour nascar et gt5

so, this morning everything's going great in the best of worlds.
Ok, Nascar works but as I said it was just a test and going in circles isn't great.
On the other hand, I still have the same problem with GT5.
Changing the controller does nothing for the 80010009 error.
I loaded several supposedly original eboot.bin files but none work.
This afternoon, I'm going to try putting GT5 prologue's eboot bin since I have the original.
I don't know if that'll work, I'll already see by the size...
On the other hand impossible to get hold of the eboot for TDU2 and MOTO GP 10/11.

voila, ce matin tout va pour le mieux dans le meilleur des mondes.
Bon, Nascar fonctionne mais comme j'ai dit que c'était un essai et tourner en rond c'est pas super.
Par contre, j'ai toujours le même problème avec GT5.
Le changement de manette ne fait rien pour l'erreur 80010009.
J'ai chargé plusieurs soit disant fichiers originaux eboot.bin mais aucun ne marche.
Cet après midi, je vais essayer de mettre l'eboot bin de GT5 prologue puisque j'ai l'original.
Je sais pas si ça marchera, déjà je verrai de part la taille...
