Custom Firmware 6.37 ME v8

Image unavailable (removed by its host) After the CFW 6.35 beta v20 neur0n offers us a new version of his Custom Firmware 6.37 ME for the PSP 2000 (non-TA088v3 models).

Changelog:

-- Update NidResolver.
-- Update NP9660 driver.

Installation:

To install the custom firmware, first, you need to install a CFW or a Hen (e.g. 5.00M33, 6.35PRO)

-Copy the UPDATE folder into ms0: / PSP / GAME /.
-Put the official 6.37 update into ms0: / PSP/GAME/UPDATE/637.PBP.
- Run the installer from the XMB.

Developer's note:

This is CFW work on PSP2000.

The degree of stability is still unknown.
Please test it on your own and refer to different people's test reports.

To install the custom firmware, first, you need to install CFW or HEN(ex. 5.00M33 , 6.35PRO) in your PSP:

Copy UPDATE folder at ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
Put 6.37 official update at ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/637.PBP .
Run installer from xmb.

Key features:

Hold R trigger and turn on the psp, you can enter recovery menu.
Hold Home button and turn on the psp, you can Boot OFW!!!!!!!

Add OPNSSMP option. Now you can run ISO without decrypt EBOOT.bin ,if ISO's required FW is lower than 6.37. You can set this option at "RecoveryMenu -> Advanced -> Advanced Config -> Excute OPNSSMP.bin" .

Prometheus ISO Loader(PIL) seemed not support 6.37 . If you use PIL, need decrypt EBOOT.BIN .

hmm I'm going to play the cop again

but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a small warning message (in big and red) to warn about bricks and to disclaim any responsibility ^^

in my opinion the custom gets created at that moment, hence the need for the official one, maybe I'm also talking total nonsense, and since one piece of nonsense never comes alone, wouldn't copyrighted files be banned on the forum? I say that, I say nothing, just that I got called out for it at the start in the ps3 section

No there's no contradiction for permanent Cfw you use an Ofw to install which you put at the root of the psp's memory card

No Oops don't worry there's no contradiction, the psp needs to be a 2000 and not equipped with a TA-088v3 motherboard (meaning flashable). (it's not a hen but a permanent firmware.)

. it's like with the psar dumper where you need to use an Ofw to extract the prx to make your own pops.

otherwise I only offered the installer link, not an illegal link.

Edit: I put the important stuff in red just in case. so you need a psp 2000 (not a 1000, 3000, Go or a 2000 with the TA088v3 motherboard)

For the ofws, you go to the sony site, connect your psp to your pc and launch standard update and it downloads the ofw onto your memory stick.

There you go, Sony distributes its ofws, so no worries.

For those who have a flashable psp 2000, feel free to test these cfws (with a pandora next to you), that would be cool.
