Post by **boris123** » Fri 21 Jan 2011 16:41

HELLO,
being new to the forum, I also have an R4 with a black box that I bought on chipspain, I'd like to update it, everything goes fine with the software but when I want to launch a game it's loading then a fully white screen and I don't know what else to do, could someone possibly help me.

thanks,
Boris 123

salahpayne, I thought you'd made a small mistake... because for the wood R4iDS Gold download link you offer the wood R4iDSN v1.25... but... there's a linker called "R4iDSN".

R4iDSN: https://r4idsn.com/
R4ids Gold: https://www.r4ids.cn

Both sites claim to be compatible with this version of wood. Once again R4 and co sow confusion.

edit: the R4iDSN (.com) site offers a wood v2.5 link for its linker but also for the R4ids Gold

edit 2: notice that the CRCs of the _DSMENU.DAT and WOODR4.NDS files are different. So there really are 2 versions, and both linkers would be compatible
