Format Western Digital Hard Drive to FAT32

Good evening everyone, so I'd like to format my Western Digital My Book Essential 1TB external hard drive in Fat32 so I can put my backups on it but the problem is that when I "right click" on the hard drive in "My Computer", I only get the choice between formatting in NTFS or in ExFAT, how do I do this please?
Also, I saw that to be able to play with a backup on an external HDD, it needed to be split into 4GB files, is that right?

Bonsoir a tous, voila je voudrais formater mon disque dur externe Western Digital My Book Essential 1To en Fat32 afin de pouvoir mettre mes backup sur celui-ci mais le problème est que lorque je fais "clic droit" sur le disque dur dans "Poste de travail", j'ai le choix entre formatage en NTFS ou en ExFAT, comment faire svp?
De plus, j'ai vu que pour pouvoir jouer avec un backup se trouvant sur un DD externe, il fallait qu'il soit découper en fichier de 4Go, c'est bien ça?

y a quelques jeux (rare) avec des fichiers de 4go ou plus (le fat32 c'est limiter a 4go) si tu tombe sur un de ses jeux fais signe je t'explique . le soft que tu devras utiliser c'est PSARC

Go through Ubuntu to format it.

There's also fat32formatter I think.

Passes par Ubuntu pour le formater.

Y'a aussi fat32formatter je crois.

with psarc you take the big files you extract them then you put their content into a folder (with the same name).

avec psarc tu prend les gros fichiers tu les extrais avec tu met leurs contenue dans un dossier (avec le même nom ).

I hadn't seen that lol but anyway it's finally done =). By the way, where should I put the game's folder on the external hard drive? Do I need to create a folder first?

J'avais pas vu lol mais bon c'est enfin fini =). Par contre, ou dois-je placer le dossier du jeu sur le disque dur externe? Dois-je créer un dossier auparavant?

For info, I have Open Manager so I understood that on Backup Manager it's the GAMEZ folder you need to create at the root and as far as I'm concerned, on Open Manager it's the OMAN46756 folder. Is that right?

Yes on the external drive you need to have the GAMEZ folder.

the OMAN46756 folder is on the internal Hdd

Oui sur le disque externe tu dois avoir le dossier GAMEZ.

le dossier OMAN46756 c'est sur le Hdd interne

Hi everyone, so I have a backup that's about 11Go. I wanted to copy it last night to the external hard drive but at 96%, it froze, I get the following error message: "i/o write error".

Salut a tous, voila j'ai un backup qui fait environ 11Go. J'ai voulu le copier cette nuit sur le disque dur externe mais arrivé a 96%, il s'est bloqué, j'ai le message d'erreur suivant : "Erreur d'écriture e/s".
