WiiFlow 4.2.1 r441 [updated: 31/12]

today I updated wiiflow and priiloader.
For autoboot, forced to go through the forwarder otherwise it can't find the hdd.
The hdd is sometimes no longer found when switching from wiiflow to wiimc and vice versa.
In a game's options, the cios info shows 250_rev20b_ios38 even though it's on ios57. Same for the 249, I have rev 17 and not the 249_rev20b_ios38.
There we go... I understood the k2000 thing nice idea and style though I find the W not great.
Wiiflow's icon changed (again) but that's maybe to tell it apart from starnight.
Some added themes aren't great with lots of parts coming from other themes. ^^ (spiderman, bakugan...)

aujourd'hui j'ai maj wiiflow et le priiloader.
Pour l'autoboot, obligé de passer par le forwarder sinon il trouve pas le hdd.
Le hdd n'est parfois plus trouvé quand je passe de wiiflow à wiimc et vise et versa.

A y est... J'ai compris pour le k2000 sympa l'idée et le style bien que je trouve le W pas top.
L'icon de wiiflow a changé (encore) mais c'est peut être pour le dissocier de starnight.
Certains thèmes ajouté sont pas top avec plein de composantes venant d'autres thèmes. ^^ (spiderman, bakugan...)

and redid the pimp my wii 2.11 test which told me no warning and that everything was up to date. I installed the forwarder (carbonik wiiflow) from the first page, via wad manager 1.7
and I still get the message when I launch wiiflow to plug in my hard drive...
grrrr
I don't know what to do anymore!!!!
please help
when I go through uloader via HBC, I can launch my games!!! I don't get it!!! :'(

great forum/topic that I follow closely at least once a day.

Mozemaster your problem comes from pmw the versions it installs in 249 and 250 are moldy I had the same problem on 2 Wiis.

Install ciosX rev20b/rev19 from Waninkoko 249 base 57 250 base 56 or vice versa and let me know how it goes!

Edit: forget nike my wii next time it'll be better

I downloaded the ciosX rev 20b and installed as shown in the wiigen tutorial, and still the same problem... HDD not recognized when I launch wiiflow

I noticed that when I start the console, if I launch a game first via uloader 5.1E
then I quit it, then I launch wiiflow, it finds my HDD immediately and I manage to launch a game with no problem, but if I launch wiiflow directly after turning on my console
well I get the HDD error...

Mozemaster ton problème vien de pmw les version qu'il installe en 249 et 250 son moisie j'ai eu le même problème sur 2 Wii.

Test your hdd on a computer with hdtune or another, test another version of wiiflow, another usb cable from your hdd to your wii etc... no kidding at this point no idea... Sorry

I reformatted my HDD, recreated a partition in WBFS, and I still have the same problem with the HDD not recognized, I don't know what to do anymore... :'(

I think you're using a hard drive with a somewhat finicky controller, since with a usb key, everything works.

Your hard drive is less compatible with wiiflow than your usb key.

There's a compatibility list of sd cards, usb keys and hdds compatible with the wii.

Je pense que tu utilise un disque dur avec un controleur un peu capricieux , puisque qu'avec une cle usb , tout marche.

Ton disque dur est moins compatible avec wiiflow que ta cle usb .

Il existe une liste de compatibilité des sd , cle usb et hdd compatible avec la wii.

and it's marked works under geexbox and usb loader :s
so I'm going to delete my 2 partitions and make just one (the whole HDD) in WBFS to see if that works... afterward if it still doesn't work, I won't know what to do anymore :s
given that before I did the update, it worked perfectly

I have a problem with the latest rev (r304); I updated my wiiflow by overwriting the boot.dol in the apps folder as shown to do an update...

The first time I launch wiiflow, I'm indeed on r304, but if I quit and come back into wiiflow I end up on r254...

I should mention I launch my channel through a forwarder

if one time you have r304 and when quitting a game r254.
it's because you have 2 different wiiflow boot.dol in two folders (like r304 on your HDD and r254 on your SD)
and in your wiiflow settings under "return to" you're pointing to your other wiiflow

anyway, you've got some cleanup to do on your SD and your HDD

c'est que tu a 2 boot.dol diffèrent de wiiflow dans deux dossiers (genre la r304 sur ton DD est la r254 sur ta SD)
et dans tes paramètres de wiiflow dans "retour vers" tu indique ton autres wiiflow

bref, tu a du ménage a faire sur ta SD et ton DD

jiiwah question I did the update to the latest version WIIFLOW 2.2 r304-249 I deleted dol and config xml and replaced it with the one from 2.2 rc1 r304 .I changed the wad I put orchid with the theme of the same name all ok when I start wiiflow no issue as soon as I start scrolling through the covers I get a series of writing on black screen then note reload 5 seconds and back to wii menu. what's that from .before I had in wad starnight channel and I was on version 2.2 beta any idea thanks to you .I changed theme and I'm on blackwii it seems to be running . is this version compatible with black ops .I bought the game then put it on the drive it gets stuck on loading don't understand I have to do a hard reboot see you soon tell me in the apps wiiflow folder should there be only the icon .the dol file and the meta xml file because inside I have language.ini wiiflow.ini and titles.ini can I delete them thanks a lot for the question sorry

even after formatting my whole HDD, having made only one WBFS partition
wiiflow still doesn't launch (hdd not detected msg). but via uloader going through the hbc, it works perfectly
I don't know what to do anymore now, yet it worked really well before I did that update grrrrr

I think this version is buggy. I have a problem too one time hdd not recognized. another time the controllers if I use 2 at the same time and I navigate in wiiflow, well I get a nice black screen full of writing then a reload after 5 seconds where I have to do a hard reboot. I went back to my previous version 2.2 beta and bam all good an explanation would be welcome see you soon

je pense que cette version bug.j ai probleme moi aussi un coup hdd pas reconu .un autre coup les manettes si j en utilise 2 en meme temps et que je navigue dans wiiflow, et bien j ai le droit a un belle ecran noir avec plein d ecriture puis un reload au bout de 5 secondes ou je dois faire un hard reboot .je suis repasser sur ma version anterieur 2.2 beta et hop tout niquel une explication serai la bien venu a bientot

Like several people already had, I have an issue launching the game.
My wii was hacked with sciifii and wiiflow I just put wiiflow r304 on, but it still doesn't work.

I have a hard drive with an ntfs partition.

when I try to launch a game it shows: Disc_SetUSB failed

Comme plusieurs personnes ont déja eu, j'ai un souci pour lancer le jeux.

I have a small issue, a friend of mine wanted me to take care of his console.
I did the same as the twenty or so consoles I did before to install the various mods needed.

To try it out, I put my sd card with my hard drive.
On the sd card, WiiFlow in version r304. But no way to launch a game, I always get a wii reboot.
On the other hand, by putting back r220, it works very well.
Would you have any idea why???

J'ai un petit soucie, j'ai un ami qui voulais que je m'occupe de sa console.
J'ai procéder comme la vingtaine de console que j'ai fait avant pour installer les différentes modifications à faire.

Pour essayer, je met ma carte SD avec mon disque dur.
Sur la carte SD, WiiFlow en version r304. Mais pas moyen de lancer de jeu, j'ai toujours un reboot de la wii.
Par contre, en remettant la r220, ça fonctionne très bien.
Auriez-vous une idée du pourquoi du comment ???
