Hello and thank you so much for this guide, it's a lot of work to please others by sharing all this.

I had already cracked my Wii a few weeks ago, thanks to a similar guide on another site, but today, when adding a game, I couldn't download the cover art via wifi;
It's however available on wiitdb.com. So I saved it as .png, in the same format as all my other covers (i.e. 1024/680) and pasted it into wiiflow/boxcovers, but no result, so that's how I ended up on your guide.

So I read everything, and by doing exactly what you say, my cover doesn't install on my game.

I did clear the cache file, I also looked for the wiiflow.ini file, but I didn't understand what I need to do in wiiflow.ini/properties/general with this line:

data_on_usb=no; actually I can't find this line, which I think at first should be "data_on_usb=yes"

Knowing that I go through my SD card and not my HDD, because I haven't partitioned it in FAT or FAT32, only in WBFS.

All my previous covers (downloaded directly via wifi) come back automatically just fine, but the one added manually leaves a question mark on the game's box; (and I do have the correct XXXXXX.png code for this cover).

for "data_on_usb=xxx" it only applies if you have a FAT32 partition, since that's not your case, you don't need to worry about it.

For the rest, you did everything that was needed. So apart from an ID or typing error, I don't see what it could be.
try clicking on the cover, going into the individual options and downloading the cover from there.

The code XXXXXX does match, I'll try downloading via wifi again, maybe wiitdb.com is having an issue today;

I have a question.

Does Wiiflow have trouble "handling" too many backups on the HDD?
Because it turns out that when I launch it, it works fine.
But as soon as I go, for example, into the config menu and come back to the home,
well the covers just up and vanish (what a pun!).
So, I have to reload Wiiflow.

what version of wiiflow do you have? where did you put your wiiflow folder? on SD or a FAT32 partition?

I think it's the R25 (not sure)...
the software is on the 1GB SD card, and the HDD only has a 1TB WBFS partition.

The SD card is actually a µSD in an SD adapter (because my SD card reader is broken, and since I only have a µSD/USB adapter for the PC...)

some µSD+adapter combos are poorly supported. Your problem might come from that. Have you tried wiiflow r41? https://www.tgames.fr/news-wii/wiiflow-r ... t2592.html

I just tried, I even started over from scratch (i.e. folders emptied of all files).
But when I want to download All the covers, it tells me 0/130 covers downloaded...
and indeed it didn't copy the files to the SD.

Actually, it was the µSD/SD adapter that had the lock... since on the PC I use a small USB dongle in which I put the µSD card -> no write problem...

I installed wiiflow on the hard drive, I decompressed the full wiiflow pack and installed the forwarder with the SD card. However I still can't install the themes and covers manually.

I don't understand anything at all, I tried several times before asking for your help.

yes, everything works fine. When I launch the wiiflow channel, it loads the games on the hdd and they scroll by with the game names but no themes (black background) and no covers (empty box).

well no, that implies nothing. Now that I'm sure you have a FAT32 partition I can tell you that you have 2 solutions:

1. move the wiiflow folder to your FAT32 partition but if you use the latest version of wiiflow (r42) you risk having corrupted cover downloads. (bug present only on usb)
2. leave the wiiflow folder on your SD but you need to open the wiiflow.ini file to add the line (right after [GENERAL]:

data_on_usb=no

then replace all the dir....usb with dir....sd

like this:

data_on_usb=no
dir_bca=sd:/wiiflow/codes
dir_box_covers=sd:/wiiflow/boxcovers
dir_cache=sd:/wiiflow/cache
dir_cheat=sd:/wiiflow/codes
dir_flat_covers=sd:/wiiflow/covers
dir_music=sd:/wiiflow/music
dir_themes=sd:/wiiflow/themes
dir_txtcheat=sd:/wiiflow/txtcodes

hi!

On the hdd fat32 partition, I've already put the usb:/wiiflow/themes file and language ini+ title.ini as well as
usb: apps/wiiflow
I understood about the themes, I just had to navigate to change them

But for the covers, nothing works, I can't manage it
yet I created a folder in usb:/wiiflow/boxcovers where I put the covers

In the menu the boxes scroll with the game name but there's a? on them and no way to add the covers. When I go to download covers, it goes online. What's the procedure to install them manually?

get the full HQ covers from wiitdb.com, add them and delete the cache to see.
but if your wii is connected to wifi, have it download everything for the titles and covers

I have covers but not full covers so I downloaded a few full covers from the site with the pc just to see.
then, I put them in usb:/wiiflow/boxcovers
I connected the wii and it's still the same, it doesn't load the covers. I should mention that I deleted the cache folder beforehand.
