WiiFlow 4.2.1 r441 [updated: 31/12]

I have a small request to make.... It would be to redo the Carbonit theme for this version, because I don't really like the light 2 theme.

Sorry, that's not something you should ask us but rather Benjay, and he's not registered on this forum (at least I don't think so).
Also, I think you're talking about the version of Wiiflow with categories, WiiflowPatch created by VIP, which is an unofficial version. I don't think there will be a carbonik update for this version. Benjay announced he'd update his themes when the future official version is released.

Désolé, c'est pas à nous qu'il faut demander ca mais plutôt à Benjay et Il n'est pas inscrit sur ce forum (du moins je ne pense pas).
Ensuite, je pense que tu parles de la version de Wiiflow ayant les catégories, WiiflowPatch créé par VIP, qui est une version non officielle. Je ne pense pas qu'il y aura une maj de carbonik pour cette version. Benjay a annoncé qu'il mettrait à jour ses thèmes quand la future version officielle sera sortie.

A devoted fan of Wiiflow, I'd like to know which version you'd advise me to take, knowing that the "Patch" version seems more appealing than R28, but I'd just like to know, since it's not an official version, whether there are no bugs??

Personally I use VIP's Patch version, only because it brings the categories option and it works well.
But currently r-win is working on FAT/NTFS support, but without the categories, so you'll have to make even more of a choice.

Perso j'utilise la version Patch de VIP, seulement parce qu'elle apporte l'option des catégories et elle fonctionne bien.
Mais actuellement r-win travaille sur le support FAT/NTFS, mais sans les catégories, faudra donc encore plus faire un choix.

I noticed that the "ALTERNATIVE DOL" option is no longer present, how do I do to launch games that need it? "The House Of The Dead 2 & 3 Returns & Mortal Kombat"

EDIT: I just noticed it's actually because of the theme I use "violetcyan" I don't see the option whereas on the default theme and others you see it but sometimes it's shifted, how can I make it appear on the theme I use? thanks in advance.

you have to use the light 2 theme (updated for this rev) and as I said, the themes won't be updated for now.

il faut utiliser le thème light 2 (mise à jour pour cette rev) et comme je l'ai demandé, les thème ne seront pas remis à jour pour l'instant.

Everything suggests wiiflow doesn't recognize your HDD. Does it work with an older rev of wiiflow and/or with another USB Loader??

Tout porte à croire que wiiflow ne reconnait pas ton HDD. Il fonctionne avec une ancienne rev de wiiflow et/ou avec un autre USB Loader ??

By the way, if my HDD wasn't compatible, how should I get one:

I currently have an empty external enclosure, for a 3.5" SATA HDD, with its own power supply, is that fine or not?

Well I found some answers!!!

To put WiiFlow directly, you need a .wad!
And Wad Manager!

I found some wads in wiiflow's rar!

Ok! But they all have theme customizations!

Personally, I'd like a really plain one with the Wiiflow config as I have it via the HBR!

How do I do that?

I recommend the "wiiflow StarNight channel forwarder" channel.
put the .wad file on your SD like this: SD:/wad/
launch wad manager, select ios249, (nand, if there is one, leave as default), sources: SD slot. and install the .WAD file
then go into apps to check that the folder containing wiiflow's boot.dol is indeed named wiiflow. You might have 2. rename it wiiflow_249 and delete the other.

Je te conseil la chaîne "wiiflow StarNight channel forwarder".
place le fichier .wad sur ta SD tel que : SD:/wad/
lance wad manager, sélectionne l'ios249, (nand, si il y a, laisse par défautl), sources :SD slot. et installe le fichier .WAD
ensuite va dans apps afin de vérifier que le dossier où se trouve le boot.dol de wiiflow se nomme bien wiiflow. Tu en as peut être 2. renomme le wiiflow_249 et supprime l'autre.

Channels and themes are 2 different things. By installing a channel, you'll still stay with Wiiflow's base config.

For the rest, do what Oops told you.

Les chaînes et les thèmes sont 2 choses différentes. En installant une chaîne, tu resteras quand même avec la config de base de Wiiflow.

I have a little question 3 weeks ago I downloaded the 1.1 full pack, I installed the carbonik 222 wad, to get the 1.1rev32 wad version do I need to re-download the pack?

With the carbonik 222 wad you can't change wiiflow's version. Wiiflow is included in the channel.
For that, you must uninstall the wad you have and install the same wad (or another one to change) but as a forwarder.

Then you create on your SD or HDD a wiiflow folder inside the apps folder and place inside it the boot.dol of the r32 version available here. So you should have this sd:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol or usb:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol

Avec le wad cabonik 222 tu ne peux pas changer de version de wiiflow. Wiiflow est inclu dans la chaîne.
Pour cela, tu dois désinstaller le wad que tu as et installer le même wad (ou un autre pour changer) mais en forwarder.

Ensuite tu créé sur ta SD ou HDD un dossier wiiflow dans le dossier apps et tu y place dedans le boot.dol de la version r32 dispo ici. Tu dois donc avoir ceci sd:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol ou usb:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol
