Problem with cheat code on Red R4I

Hello,
As said above, I have an issue with my red R4I (same with R4i gold) the firmware is up to date. and the cheat.dat is in SYSTEM (tried with cheat usrcheat and cheat.xml) nothing works, I can choose to enable or not the cheat but it doesn't work even when it's enabled. maybe it's a cheat file problem but well.... (dl on GBAtemp).
If you have a solution it would be nice to share it.

Ps: no need to tell me R4 is cr*p I know, but I have 2, a gold and a red one (kindly given by a buddy) and I'd rather make them both work.

Comme dis plus haut, j'ai un souci avec mon R4I rouge (pareil avec R4i gold) le firmware est à jour. et le cheat.dat est dans SYSTEM (essai avec cheat usrcheat et cheat.xml) rien à faire je peux choisir d'activer ou non la triche mais ca ne marche pas même quand c'est activé. peut être un problème de fichier cheat mais bon .... Ps: pas la peine de me répondre que le R4 c'est de la m***** je sais, mais j'en ai 2 un gold et un rouge (gracieusement offertpar un pote) et j'aimerai autant les faire marcher.

Jvais pas de dire que le R4 c'est de la m*erde, vu que j'en ai aussi un, je vais cependant te dire que cheater c'est de la merde, sa sert strictement a rien ^^

well, your buddy... he didn't graciously give it to you... he graciously offloaded it onto you. I don't know if you catch the nuance
activating cheat code mode isn't enough, you also need to find the cheat page specific to each game to choose (check) the cheat(s) you want. In pokemon some can't be activated at the same time as another.
But maybe you've already done that and it still doesn't work.
on other linkers, the general activation of cheats can be either permanent or tied to a shortcut (key combination).

activer le mode cheat code ne suffit pas, il faut aussi que tu trouve la page de cheat propre a chaque jeu pour choisir (cocher) le ou les cheat que tu veux. Dans pokemon certain ne peuvent pas être activé en même temps qu'un autre.
Mais peut être que tu as déjà fait ça et que ça ne marche toujours pas.

I got the nuance just fine, but well at the same time it's for my son and I don't need all the codes. Besides, personally for how little I play it I don't need the codes at all
But once the cheat is activated I don't know how to get into each one's specific page...

J'ai bien saisie la nuance, mais bon en même temps c'est pour mon fils et je n'ai pas besoin de tous les codes.D'ailleurs, personnellement pour le peu que j'y joue je n'ai pas du tout besoin des codes
Par contre une fois la triche activée je ne sais pas comment rentrer dans la page propre a chacun ...

there, I think that's where your problem comes from. You do have the cheat code function activated but no code is activated.

voilà, je pense que ton problème vient de là. Tu as bien la fonction cheat code d'activé mais aucun code n'est activé.
