[RESOLVED] launch games with card

hello I have my cousin who has a ds with a card to put games in and her dad erased the program and I don't know much about it it's an r4 card when I start the card with the chip in it it shows couldn't ds menu dat so what's the program to put back so that it works? thanks

not easy to answer you like that without more info because there are 16 R4-type linkers and 16 more R4i-type ones. To know which one you have, I need the address of the site that's on the box and/or on the label of the R4 linker.
The worst part is that even if you go to the address it's possible you won't find the system files for the latest update but I know where to go

pas facile de te répondre comme ça sans plus d'info car il existe 16 linker de type R4 et 16 autre de type R4i. Pour savoir le quel tu as, il me faut l'adresse du site qui est sur la boite et/ou sur l'étiquette du linker R4.
Le comble c'est que même si tu te rend sur l'adresse il est possible que tu ne trouve pas les fichiers system de la dernière mise à jour mais moi je sais où allez

it's not that nobody can help, it's just that based on the information you gave about your R4, I gave you the right file. and as things stand, without further information from you, I don't really see what to do. You could try the 15 other R4 clone systems but that's rather risky, some claimed to have included a linker killer if the OS didn't recognize the linker as authentic. Quite ironic when you know that nowadays they're all just clones.

Also all the R4s are outdated. You can find cheaply other efficient and up-to-date linkers like the acekard2 and the M3real. or even entry-level products like the edge (derived from the cyclo) or the iTouchDS (derived from the M3real). and finally the DSTT (watch out for fakes)

c'est pas que personne ne peux d'aidé c'est juste que selon les information que tu as donné sur ton R4, je t'ai donné le bon fichier. et dans l'état actuel sans d'autre information de ta part je voie pas trop quoi faire. Tu pourrais testé les 15 autres sytem des clone de R4 mais c'est plutôt risqué, certain ont prétendu avoir inclure un killer de linker si l'OS ne reconnaissait pas le linker comme authentique. Un comble quand on sait qu'à présent ce ne sont que des clones.

the problem is that the site doesn't give any additional information and neither does the photo. If some "manufacturers" played the difference card by changing the name and the box, others didn't.

You can, at your own risk, try all the systems available on this site. There's a long list for R4. Don't try the R4i systems or those mentioning "i", it's useless. although some are mixed R4/R4i but I think you'll guess which ones you can try or not.

le problème c'est que le site ne donne pas d'information supplémentaire et la photo non plus. Si certain "fabricant" on jouer la carte de la différence en changeant le nom et la boite, d'autre pas.

Tu peux à tes risques et périls tester tout les system dispo sur ce site. Il y a une longue liste pour R4. Ne teste pas les system R4i ou mentionné "i" c'est inutile. quoi que certain sont mixte R4/R4i mais je pense que tu devinera ceux que tu peux tester ou non.

The acekard2i is a good choice but if you have a DS lite you might as well get an acekard2 (not "i")
