cIOS38 build 240110 by waninkoko

Image unavailable (removed by its host) Waninkoko has just released on his twitter page a Beta version of his upcoming cIOS, cIOS 38 Rev18. This is the follow-up to cIOS 38 Rev17.

New features:
- Added experimental support for FAT Support
- Improved the DIP Module

A little clarification:
First, you're not really at risk of bricking.
Second, if you're not happy with it, you can always go back, so it would be good to test it, to help waninkoko out.
third, look at the new features, he improved his DIP module so it would be good if you could test the DVD games that didn't work.. and he added a FAT module, we'll have to wait for a homebrew that uses it.. So there's no big change, this won't turn out like Rev15 & Rev16 which in the end was worse than Rev14.

So I'm installing & testing it

De une , vous ne risquer pas réellement de brick.
De deux , si sa ne vous conviens pas , vous pouvez toujours revenir en arrière donc sa serais bien de tester , histoire d'aidé waninkoko.
de trois , regarder les nouveautés , il a amélioré sons DIP module donc sa serrait si vous pouviez testé les jeux DVD qui ne marcher pas.. et il a ajouter un module FAT , sa va falloir attendre un homebrew qui l'utilise.. Donc il n'y a pas de grosse modification , sa ne va pas faire comme la Rev15 & Rev16 qui était finalement moins bien que la Rev14.

Donc moi j'installe & je test

I also saw this news on various sites this morning, apparently there are certain bugs with loaders like USB loader GX...
I think it's mainly so that a maximum number of people test his versions.

EDIT: I don't know if there's a link, but ever since GeoHot (famous Iphone/Itouch hacker) apparently managed to hack the PS3, Waninkoko is coming back a bit toward the Wii... Probably just a coincidence!

J'ai aussi vu cette news sur différents sites ce matin, apparemment il y a certain bug avec des loader comme l'USB loader GX...
Je pense que c'est surtout pour qu'il y est un maximum de personne qui test ses versions.

EDIT: Je sais pas s'il y a un lien, mais depuis que GeoHot (célèbre hacker de l'Iphone/Itouch) aurait réussi à hacker la PS3, Waninkoko revient un peu vers la Wii... Surement juste une coïncidence !

Or maybe not.. For me it seems pretty obvious. Waninkoko had announced on teknoconsolas that he'd look into hacking the ps3.. but now that geohot's done it, he's coming back to the wii ^^

Ou pas .. Pour moi sa me semble évident. Waninkoko avait annoncer sur son de teknoconsolas qu'uil se pencehrait sur le hack de la ps3.. mais maintenat que geohot la fait , il reviens sur la wii ^^

while others have been working on it for 3 years.

there's no point spreading this everywhere, this rev is the future rev 18, or at least what will be extra in the actual rev 18, meaning FAT Support, so in this rev the only thing to test is something that uses FAT with IOS 249

This topic should be on hold until the real version of the cIOS


as Oops said, I think waninkoko didn't really stop, he just wanted to calm down all these excited people, and above all simply enjoyed life a bit, since he's necessarily got to be sitting in front of his pc to program for people who demand cios news every time the version he releases has something wrong with it (double layer, unusable neogamma) he was maybe a bit tired of necessarily always working on his cIOS

ca sert a rien de la répandre partout cette rev est la futur rev 18 du moins ce qu'il y auras de plus dans la vrai rev 18 c'est a dire le Support FAT donc dans cette rev ce qu'il y a juste a tester c'est quelque chose qui utilise du FAT avec l' IOS 249

comme je disait Oops je pense que waninkoko a pas vraiment arreté il a juste voulu calmer le jeu de tous ces exité, et surtout tous simplement profité des joie de la vie sa forcément etre placer devant son pc pour programmer pour des personne qui réclame un news cios car a chaque fois la version qu'il sort a un truc qui va pas (les doubles couche, neogamma non utilisable) il en avait peux etre marre de forcément bosser que sur son cIOS
