HackMii Installer v0.3 and BootMii beta 3 (v1.0)

The Twiizers Team releases a new version of their HackMii Installer package which lets you install the homebrew channel, DVDx and of course BootMii on any Wii regardless of its System Menu.

New features/fixes:

HackMii installer (v0.3):

- "Saner" selection of IOS for the Installer itself and the installed Homebrew Channel.
- BootMii will now install on Wiis with bad blocks in the boot2 partition
- Fixed certain freezes during Starlet reboot

BootMii beta 3 (v1.0):

- Improved compatibility with SD Cards
- Increased backup/restore speed for some SD cards, but decreased for others
- Fixed GPIO input for all Wiis
- Wavebird support
- Fixed a silly bug that created 0 byte NAND backups
- Keys are now saved to the SD as /bootmii/keys.bin

Regarding HBC, although a new version was planned with some interesting additions, since development wasn't finished yet, the Twiizers Team preferred to release this new HackMii Installer version so as not to delay the release of the fixes. As a result, the Homebrew Channel version remains the same as the one distributed with BootMii beta 2.

La Team Twiizers publie une nouvelle version de leur package HackMii Installer qui permet d'installer la chaine homebrew, DVDx et bien entendu BootMii sur n'importe quelle Wii et quelque soit son System Menu.

Nouveautés/corrections :

HackMii installer (v0.3):

- Sélection plus "saine" des IOS pour l'Installer lui même et la Chaine Homebrew installée.
- BootMii s'installera désormais sur les Wii avec des bad blocks dans la partie boot2
- Correction de certains blocages lors du reboot de Starlet

BootMii beta 3 (v1.0):

- Amélioration de la compatibilité avec les SD Cards
- Augmentation de la vitesse de backup/restore pour certaines Sd Cards, mais diminution pour les autres
- Correction GPIO input pour toutes les Wii
- Support Wavebird
- Correction d'un bug idiot qui créait des backups de NAND d'une taille de 0 byte
- Les clés sont désormais sauvegardées sur la SD en tant que /bootmii/keys.bin

Concernant HBC, bien qu'une nouvelle version était prévue avec des ajouts intéressants, le développement n'étant pas encore terminé, la Team Twiizers a préféré publié cette nouvelle version de HackMii Installer afin de ne pas retarder la diffusion des correctifs. De ce fait la version de la Chaine homebrew reste toujour la même que celle distribuée avec BootMii beta 2.

hello where can I find the original ios to install bootmii? because I installed the latest cioscorp and bootmii tells me not to go any further!! so I'd like to reinstall the original ios, put bootmii on then reinstall the cioscorp thanks

bonjour ou puis trouver ios originaux afin d installer bootmii? car la j ai installer le dernier cioscorp et bootmii me dit de ne pas aller plus loin!! alors j aimerais reinstaller les ios d origines mettre bootmii et reintaller le cioscorp merci

it's monte jiiwah who will probably be able to install bootmii in boot2 with this added compatibility on boot2 with bad sectors.

c'est monte jiiwah qui va surement pourvoir installé bootmii en boot2 avec cette ajout de compatibilité sur le boot2 avec des bad secteur.

For my part, it's installed. No change, bootmii still can't launch homebrews directly from the SD explorer.

Pour ma part, c'est installé. Pas de changement bootmii ne peu toujours pas lancer les homebrew directement par l'explorateur de SD.

Hey, uh...me who already installed bootmii in boot2 etc etc back when it was in beta 2, what do I need to do now if I want to put the beta 3? because I'm on 4.1 + Cioscorp 3.3, well I have the whole package like Kyno and baordeur =)

Hey, heu...moi qui est deja installer bootmii en boot2 etc etc quand c'etait en beta 2, la je doit faire quoi si je veut mettre la beta 3 ? parce que je suis en 4.1 + Cioscorp 3.3 enfin jai la totale comme Kyno et baordeur =)

okay that's what I wanted to know, since I already installed bootmii, even if I have the ciospack, I can still install it and thus overwrite it, okay that's cool, I'll do that when I have time =)

On the other hand you'll see, the homebrew channel and Dvdx, you won't be able to reinstall them with the CiosPack anymore...

Par contre du verra , l'homebrw channel et le Dvdx tu ne pourra plu le réinstaller avec le CiosPack ...
