What is it?
Bushing created this homebrew, which is actually used to "convert" a Nand from one wii so that it works on another wii.

How can this be useful?
Well, quite simply in case of a brick of your wii and you don't have a copy of your nand, you manage to get a friend's or find one on the internet, and you convert it with Betwiin

(because before that it didn't work because of a unique key in every wii...). /!\ You need to have installed BootMii before your brick!

Small explanatory tutorial:
Prerequisites: the keys of the 2 wiis which you can get thanks to Xyzzy 1.1 and having installed python to be able to use Betwiin
1. Copy the dump file of a working NAND into "input/flash.bin".
2. Copy that NAND's keys into input/.
3. Copy the faulty NAND's keys into output/.
4. Then launch betwiin.py, and wait a few minutes.
5. Get the created file from output/flash.bin
6. Install it with BootMii, and there you go, your wii is up and running

/!\ Be careful about:
- The boot1 version of both consoles must be identical.
- The boot2 version must be equal to or higher than the most recent one installed on the original Wii.
- There's no bad block management. If the NAND used to replace another NAND contains bad blocks some of which correspond to files necessary for the system to boot, it's strongly advised to find another spare NAND.
- Converting an image from one key system to another does not guarantee at all that everything will work. The serial number will be cloned, but that won't affect anything at all. The Wii Shop account will not be transferred, and neither the original account used on the bricked console will work. Most game saves should work. Purchased channels won't work on the new Wii and you won't be able to download them again. You should be able to create a new Wii Shop account, all disc games should work and you'll even be able to do a system update.

cool great news so we just need to get a nand from a buddy and put the keys file we got with xxzzy and put it in input and output and run it, that's all??

yes, and afterwards you install flash.bin which is located in output

. But I'd advise against it, there's a bunch of conditions ...

There's an idea there... but it's basically useless because you'd need to find someone who has the same corrupted blocks in the same spot
