Hello,

I made a program to trim (reduce the size) of NDS roms.
There are plenty of programs, so I tried to make a simpler one.
Indeed, my program has no interface: you just have to press a key and it trims all the roms that are in the same directory as the program.
If you put the program in your DS games folder, it's pretty handy.
The program is based on TinyTrimmer, which is very fast.

and do the .nds still work the same after the size reduction?

Sorry for the late reply (vacation...).
The games still work fine (except some linkers that need clean roms).

Actually, the games in the cartridges are stored in memory chips that have predefined sizes (8,16,32,64,128,1024 MB).
But the games don't necessarily fill that size.
So by trimming you can reduce the size of your games (not the homebrews) to save a bit of space (personally with all my games I save about 20 MB).

Does it work on the EDGE linker? (It's a bit unknown so...)

I own the EDGE and the EZ 5i and it works on both linkers.
Watch out though for patched/translated roms which often must not be trimmed!
