Here it is, Waninkoko's Cios rev12 is available!

Edit: After several tests, it seems that only one of the USB ports works. If you have any problems, try plugging your hard drive into another port

Edit : Apres plusieur test, il semblerais qu'un seul des ports USB ne marche. Si vous avez un problemes, essayer de brancher votre disque dur sur un autre port

I just tested, nothing works anymore in the loaders, it can't find the external hard drive anymore...

Edit: You need to plug the external hard drive into USB port 1 and no longer port 2 which is now reserved for accessories...

Je viens de tester, plus rien ne marche dans les loaders, il ne trouve plus le disque dur externe...

Edit: Il faut brancher le disque dur externe dans le port 1 USB et non plus en port2 qui est réservé aux accessoires...

The installer offers a choice of which ios to patch
I tested:
ios36 > doesn't work
ios38 > doesn't work
ios222 > doesn't work
ios249 > doesn't work

conclusion: nothing works or did I forget something?

going back:
- installing cios36 and 38 from the ciospack
- erasing cios222, 249 and 250
- installing cios36 rev11

and we're back in business.

L'installeur propose de choisir quel ios à patcher
J'ai testé:
ios36 > marche pas
ios38 > marche pas
ios222 > marche pas
ios249 > marche pas

conclusion: rien ne marche ou aurai-je oublier quelque chose ?

retour en arriere:
- installation des cios36 et 38 du ciospack
- effacement du cios222,249 et 250
- installation du cios36 rev11

et c'est reparti.

Last night, the TecknoConsolas site was totally down. Waninkoko must have found another way to publish his new IOS, namely, Softmii.org.

As for the move from ios 36 to 38, no idea

Hier soir, le site TecknoConsolas était carrément down. Waninkoko a du trouver un autre moyen pour publier son nouveau IOS, en l'occurance, Softmii.org.

Par contre, pour le passage de l'ios 36 a 38, aucune idée

The other observation is that loading times are a tad faster and that compatibility with certain HDDs should be greatly improved. I have an external enclosure with a 20Go HDD in it. It worked great. Thursday I bought a 60Go (seagate IDE) and I noticed freezes during mysims kingdom cutscenes and in-game for other games that worked great on the 20Go. Same punishment with an 80Go (samsung IDE) that I swiped from my wife .

With rev12 no more freezing.

It's not that your port 2 works and your port 1 doesn't. It's more like you swapped their names

But you're right... if it doesn't work.... well you gotta try the other port

Bon je viens de tester: Pour l'histoire du port usb 1 c'est dit... Merci Tgames
L'autre constat c'est que les chargements sont un poils plus rapide et que la compatibilité avec certain HDD devrait être grandement amélioré. J'ai un boitier externe dans le quel j'avais mis un HDD de 20Go. Il marchait très bien. Jeudi j'ai acheter un 60Go (seagate IDE) et j'ai constaté des freeze lors de de cinématique de mysims kingdom et in game pour d'autre jeux qui marchaient très bien sur le 20Go. Même punition avec un 80Go (samsung IDE) que j'avais piqué a ma femme .

Avec la rev12 plus de freeze.

Ce n'est pas que ton port 2 marche et que ton port 1 marche pas. C'est plutôt que tu a inversé leur nomination

For Hermes I don't know, but as for rev10, don't worry about it: Install rev12 and off you go
