First GUI with images (cover) for USBloader
Automatically translated from French.
It's moving fast:
and it looks promising!!! can't wait for more
EDIT: thanks to mickeyblue
it's just a beta version of loader 1.1 with a few simple "mods"
it was just a proof-of-concept and so my son could see the images since he can't read yet
this only works with the SD card
the images are placed in the "images" folder, not currently at the root of the SD
so it needs to be like this "apps/ceketuve/images with the boot.dol in" apps/ceketuve/
-the images must be 160x225, but they can be seen if they are bigger (not recommended)
-the images must be named with the disc ID in capitals exp: RMEG01.png ;(png in lowercase)
-blank.png is used to clear the previous image before loading the next one
-noimage.png is used when there's no image to display
-background.png is the background

-background.png c'est l'arriére-plan

USBLoader with Game Images
Automatically translated from French.
You've all been waiting for it? well here it is
(Tested & Approved by myself)
PS: I didn't recreate a new topic since Doslu was already talking about it
, so Doslu you can update the 1st post
Really looking forward to a mix of all the versions because there's starting to be a huge number of them
^^

ID GAME LIST: https://wiird.l0nk.org/gamelist/gamelist.txtHere's a very Beta version of the 1.1 usb loader with only a couple simple mods:
- childproof (no game loads, no game deletes, no drive formatting)
- displays game images from the SD card
- displays background image from the SD card
Notes:
- This was just a proof-of-concept and for my son to see the images since he can't read yet.
- This will currently (probably) only work off the SD card
- Images are placed in the images directory ( currently NOT in the SD root, so it should be /apps/[whatever]/images/ with the boot.dol under /apps/[whatever]/)
- Images should be 160x225, but they will display if larger (but not recommended).
- Images must be named with the diskId IN CAPS! E.g. RMGE01.png NOT rmge01.png and NOT RMGE01.PNG
- blank.png is used to blank out the previous image before loading the next. I suppose I could have just reloaded the background, but whatever.
- noimage.png is displayed if you don't currently have an image for the game.
- background.png is the background image
- There are no other hacks to this (e.g. NTSC/PAL)
- I will probably stop using this when the next project is released.

I tried it and it's really good
My maxtor 640gb hd got recognized right away, the direct dump that didn't work with other versions works fine and with the covers and ocarina it's superb.
Aside from an empty line in my game list it's really the best loader I've tested.

If you have an empty line it's because the name of the game above the line is too long... This was fixed in a certain version!MoonLeFou wrote:I tried it and it's really good
