WB3000 has put online a pc application that lets you download and optionally "package" files from Nintendo's update servers

NUS downloader is a pc utility letting you easily access the resources present on Nintendo's update servers. using this tool you can download and package many "system titles" into WADS ready to be installed

this program requires the .NET framework 2.0

run the program and enter a "title ID" and optionally a specific version number
the "title ID"s can be found in the "title database"

So I just tested it and it does work for everything!!

Free and paid Wii channels, IOS, system menu.

Here's an example:

System Menu 4.0 (PAL).

Title ID: 0000000100000002
Version: 418

Hello!!

Could this software be used to downgrade the 3.2 update to wad directly (so put any console back to 3.2 without internet)? And is it possible to recover wiiware and virtual console games?

Yes with it you can download all the IOS by version.

For wiiware and VC, not sure, but I think so, because I managed to recover the Internet channel with it

If I understood correctly, it's for recovering all the official (well, original) files present on the Wii?
If that's it, it's great for getting back your original config, and no more need to search!

It lets you download all the files from Nintendo's servers.
Used among other things for updates and the shop channel.

That means you made a mistake either in the "Title ID" or the "version".

Try with what I put as an example, you'll see it works...

Hi everyone!!
same for me "NUS (404): tmd"
with the example "0000000100000002" (System Menu no problem)
but if we go to another one like "0000000100000001" (BOOT2)(NUS (404): tmd)
has nintendo already started spotting the program?!?

super works perfectly just two questions ~~where to find a list of title IDs~~and in which folder does the downloaded wad go (a bit dumb I know but I can't find it and given the time, well) thanks for a future answer..........

-System Menu (0000000100000002) to get version 3.2E put 290 in the version) So yes but how do we know that 290 is version 3.2?

-I'd like to get Wave Race 64 on n64 what do I need to type for that to work?

The title should be 000100014e4149xx (with the xx to be replaced) but no idea about the version.

Install the wads with Wad Manager 1.3, it supports SDHC.
Then you copy the channel onto your SD card.

Hi everyone,
I left a message about this software in the "wii questions" section but no one has been able to answer me yet (careful, I'm not questioning the hacking knowledge of the members who answered me!!

)
So, I installed softmii and I put a new menu (I'm on 4.0 so it's a 00000075.app file) but I'd like to recover my original menu in case I want to reinstall it one day.
Since this software allows recovering system files, I imagine you can also recover the original 4.0 menu
I entered the parameters you gave and I got a file 00000075. So I renamed it to 00000075.app on my sd but it doesn't work

What should I do?

thanks again for this utility
here's my question I recovered with NUSD the files ID 0001000148414450 (Opera browser), I had checked the "Pack -> WAD" box

so I end up with this in the folder

13 "Hex" files, 1 file 0001000148414450.WAD, 1 "cetk" file and 1 "tmd" file

so to install the channel do I use WadINSTALER with "0001000148414450.WAD" in the wad folder of my SD card?

so I just tested with WADinstaler for the .wad and it works perfectly
so a good way to avoid updates via the shop channel

so here I have a wii on 3.2 and I wanted to know if I could download the system menu 4.00 to install it with wadmanager while I'm on 3.2?! Will there be any problems? thanks in advance

v1.1 - May 16, 2009

* Directories are created with the version number when known (ex: 0000000100000002v289)
* Certificates (cert.sys) no longer hard coded. You will be asked to generated the file on first boot of v1.1. This is done right from NUS.
* Ability to alter the name of the packed WAD from the GUI.
* Loading a TMD for info displays more information, such as what IOS a title requires.
* Textbox output is a bit cleaner.
* You can now choose to continue the download if a ticket (cetk) 404s. This will allow you to download the content of the titles, however you will not be able to pack them.
* Decryption of contents now included. Needs common key (key.bin) to work! (Pro Note: DSi decryption will work with a (dskey.bin), however that doesn't exist now)

* Directories are created with the version number if it is known (ex: 0000000100000002v289)
