[PATCH] Asterix & Obelix XXL2 Patch Windows 7/8/10!

I propose a patch that will (finally) make the game Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10!

Exclusive patch to tgames.fr

Until now no one was proposing a solution to run the game on 64-bit systems and on recent Windows.
This patch solves all the problems.

Code: Select all

Remplacez le fichier Gamemodule.elb dans le dossier d'installation du jeu
(par défaut : C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Astérix & Obélix XXL2)

- Insérez le DVD du jeu original

- Lancez le jeu depuis le fichier Asterix2.exe (du dossier d'installation)

- Le jeu se lancera sans aucun problème !

Note : Ne pas lancer le jeu en administrateur ET ne pas le lancer en compatibilité.
Merci de bien laisser tout par défaut, Windows 10 le lancera sans soucis !

Tested on Windows 10 Professional 64-bit - i7 6700k - Nvidia GTX 980 Ti

So it doesn't work.. Yet I did it right but when I open Asterix2 it doesn't work.

Elperro, tell me the configuration you're running the game on.
Did you properly replace the Gamemodule.elb file with the one from the pack?

Be careful you need to be on 64 bits to use the patch and have put the game in your CD drive (or virtual drive).

I just tried again from a fresh install then replacing the Gamemodule.elb file, the game runs perfectly (Windows 10 64 bits)
