Downgrade PS3 4.55?

Hey there, it's been a while since I've been here; and I've got a question o/

I'm planning to buy a PS3 in the future, the problem being that, from what I understand, there are only 4.55 versions left on the market and so uh... hacking the console doesn't work I think.

I don't know anything about the PS3 at all, I've pretty much never had one and haven't used one much either. I would have liked to know if there's a way to Downgrade the PS3 enough to make the hack possible, and all that without buying chips or stuff like that (I understood that you could flash the console somewhat the same way as the Wii...well, only touching the software and not the hardware I mean).

Je prévoie de m'acheter une PS3 à l'avenir, le problème étant que, à ce que j'ai compris, il ne reste plus que des versions 4.55 sur le marché et donc bah... pour le hack de la console ça ne fonctionne pas il me semble.

Je ne m'y connais pas du tout en PS3, je n'en ai pour ainsi dire jamais eut et j'en ai pas beaucoup utilisé non-plus. J'aurais aimé savoir s'il y a un moyen de Downgrader la PS3 assez pour rendre le hack possible, et tout ça sans acheter de puces ou trucs comme ça (j'ai cru comprendre qu'on pouvait flasher la console un peu de la même façon que la Wii...enfin, en touchant qu'au software et pas au hardware quoi).

without a chip, it's dead, there's nothing for ps3.

With a chip, depending on whether you buy a new (recent) console or an older model (used...or not), several solutions are open to you.

- The downgrade, which lets you do pretty much everything except live (not very safe).

- the ODE, which lets you play games with certain dlc (including live) and certain psn games. The stubborn dlc and psn games should work soon, according to the ODE manufacturers

sans puce, c'est mort, il n'y a rien sur ps3.

Avec puce, selon que tu achète un console neuf (récente) ou un modèle plus ancien (d'occase...ou pas), plusieurs solutions s'offre à toi.

- Le downgrade qui te permet à peu prêt tout mise à part le live (peu sure).

- l'ODE qui permet je jouer au jeu avec certain dlc (live y compris) et certain jeux psn. les dlc et jeux psn récalcitrant devraient passer bientôt à en croire les fabricants d'ODE

Hmm, I'm not really interested in Online (not at all actually) so it would mainly be just to play games. What's the cheapest solution to get that result? (more or less the same as the Wii: select a game you want to play and play it; backup or original.) And above all, counting the purchase of the PS3 (150€ I think?) plus the chip, how much would it cost me in total?

I understood that the pros supply the matching chip but I'm not entirely sure about that.

j'ai cru comprendre que les pros fournissaient la puce qui va avec mais ça je n'en suis pas totalement certain.

Rien est simple sur ps3. Tu devrais te trouver un technicien pour en discuter. Mais pas dans un magasin. et il n'y en a pas ici
