Opinion on 2 R4 cards (Help)

Hello,

New to the world of R4 cards and the like, I prefer to ask the opinion of experienced people before jumping into one purchase or another.

I own a 3DS XL version 7.1.0.14E and I'm thinking about going for the R4i gold 3DS or an R4i SDHC 3DS RTS card (buying on ********?) Moderation: no linker vendor sites. Thanks

The description says these 2 cards are now compatible with the DS version I have, however, I've seen in recent posts that R4s only work on versions equal to or lower than version 4.(…)

What do you think of these two cards?

Nouvelle dans le domaine des carte R4 et autres, je préfère demander l'avis de personnes expérimentées avant de me lancer dans tel ou tel achat.

Je possède un 3DS XL version 7.1.0.14E et je pense me positionner sur la R4i gold 3DS ou une carte R4i SDHC 3DS RTS ( en achetant sur ******** ?) Modération : pas de site marchand linker. Merci

to start, look at your message, I edited/moderated it.


You need to distinguish two types of linkers. Linkers for DS games and linkers for 3DS games. The ones you mention are DS game linkers only and for now, all 3DS game linkers are only compatible with 3DS/3DS xl with a firmware of 4.x or lower, which isn't your case if I understand correctly


otherwise your 2 linkers are among the linkers that update quickly when needed. My preference goes to the R4I GOLD 3DS RTS

Tu dois distinguer deux types de linkers. Les linkers pour jeux DS et les linkers pour les jeux 3DS. Ceux que tu cite sont des linkers pour jeux ds uniquement et pour l'instant, tout les linkers pour jeux 3DS ne sont compatible qu'avec les 3DS/3DS xl avec un firmware inférieur ou égale à 4.x. ce qui n'est pas ton cas si je comprend bien


sinon tes 2 linkers sont permis les linkers qui font les mises à jours rapidement quand il le faut. Ma préférence va au R4I GOLD 3DS RTS

Thanks for your message! I did quite a bit of research indeed on the different cards, and I understood this difference between the cards that only accept DS games and the two new cards that accept 3DS games (but which are too complicated for me for now and "too" expensive).

If I understood correctly, will the R4I GOLD 3DS RTS card work with my 3DS's version?
And what's the difference between this card and the two others I mentioned?

Merci pour ton message! Je me suis pas mal renseignée en effet sur les différentes cartes, et j'ai bien compris cette différences avec les cartes qui n'acceptent que les deux de DS et les deux nouvelles cartes qui acceptent les jeux 3DS (mais qui sont trop compliqués pour moi pour le moment et "trop" couteux).

Si j'ai bien compris, la carte R4I GOLD 3DS RTS conviendra à la version de ma 3DS?
Et quel est la différence entre cette carte et les deux autres que j'ai cité ?

Alright! I did misread indeed.
And what does this one have more than the R4i SDHC 3DS RTS? I can't find a comparison of these two cards online… Maybe you could enlighten me on this

D'accord! J'ai mal regardé en effet.
Et qu'est ce que celle-ci a de plus que la R4i SDHC 3DS RTS? Je n'arrive pas a trouver de comparatif de ces deux cartes sur le net… Peut-être pourra tu m'éclairer à ce sujet

j'ai déjà répondu à ta question : ce linker à la particularité d'utiliser l'os (system d'exploitation) "Wood" qui à été créé et qui est mise à jour par des fans pour plus de compatibilité avec les jeux. Mais à l'usage c'est plutôt minime comme différence.
