Dump nand Wii Bricked

good evening everyone
I have a small issue I got hold of a wii that's bricked with a black screen and not chipped.
so I bought a progskeetV1.2 I managed to make a dump of this wii, my question is how can I reinject a working nand when I know nothing about this one: version, boot etc
is this possible or not Thanks in advance

What form is your dump in? Do you know how it got bricked?

Sous quelle forme est ton dump? Sais tu comment elle a été briké?

well I don't know at all how the wii got bricked, the dump is a .bin file, it was made with winskeet4000
I tried opening it with wiinand software, it opens it but there are weird characters everywhere, whereas if I open a nand dump from my working console I can open it and retrieve the keys etc but not this one

Logically, a hardware DUMP can't retrieve the keys. Only a software dump (bootmii or Xyzzy) dumps the keys.

By taking the Wii apart, on the processor, you should be able to determine the boot1 version.

If it's a boot1A or boot1B, you'll be able to unbrick it with an infectus (or another chip of that kind but I've never tried), by injecting the first 7 blocks of the NAND using Bonx's Xavprog program. These first 7 blocks must come from a wii on which bootmii has been installed, so that way you'll be able to boot your bricked Wii on bootmii, and thus have access to several unbricking solutions.

If it's a Boot1C or boot1D, and you don't have the keys, then it's trash because there's no way to recover them.

I wrote a very complete tutorial on this process on Wii-Addict, but it's not available on Tgames sorry.

En démontant la Wii, sur le processeur, tu devrais pouvoir déterminer la version de boot1.

Si c'est un boot1A ou boot1B, tu pourras la débriquer avec une infectus (ou une autre puce de ce genre mais je n'ai jamais essayé), en injectant les 7 premiers blocs de la NAND à l'aide du programme Xavprog de Bonx. Ces 7 premiers blocs doivent être issus d'une wii sur laquelle bootmii a été installé, de ce fait, tu pourras booter ta Wii briquée sur bootmii, et ainsi avoir accès à plusieurs solutions de débriquage.

Si c'est un Boot1C ou boot1D, et que tu n'a pas les clés, poubelle car il n'existe aucun moyen de les récupérer.

J'ai rédigé un tuto très complet sur ce processus sur Wii-Addict, mais il n'est pas dispo sur Tgames dsl.

Your dump might be broken. Isn't there software to compare several dumps like on xbox360?

Ton dump est peut être foireux. Il n'y a pas un soft pour comparer plusieurs dump comme sur xbox360?

good evening I just looked at your tutorial does it absolutely need an infectus? or does it also work with a progskeet?

For the progskeet, they might have a specific program for Wii NANDs, in that case you'll need to check their official site. Because Bonx's XavProg has to be used with Bonx's drivers for the infectus, not the Official drivers. So this program won't work with the Progskeet.

Also, if you don't have the keys, it's normal that no program can open your NAND, since it's encrypted with those keys. So in theory, even Showmiiwad or Ohneswanzenegger can't do anything without the keys.

Pour le progskeet, ils ont peut être un programme spécifique pour les NAND Wii, dans ce cas il faut regarder sur leur site officiel. Car XavProg de Bonx doit être utilisé avec les drivers de Bonx pour l'infectus, et non les drivers Officiels. Donc ce programme ne marchera pas avec le Progskeet.

Ensuite, si tu n'as pas les clés, c'est normal qu'aucun programme puisse ouvrir ta NAND, puisque elle est cryptée avec ces clés. Donc en théorie, même Showmiiwad ou Ohneswanzenegger ne peuvent rien faire sans keys.

well I can't manage to do a correct nand dump, I can't manage to retrieve the nand key with a hex editor
I'm trying to inject bootMII onto the nand to see if that works
has someone already tried this and can give me some advice??
