Indeed, never ever install the vWii version on the Wii and vice-versa.

Another clarification about the standard and alt versions.

The standard version offers better compatibility with emulated NANDs but only supports one USB port and doesn't support plug and play.
Conversely, the alt version is plug and play and supports 2 USB ports but offers lesser compatibility with emulated NANDs.

Effectivement, ne jamais installer la version vWii sur la Wii et vice-versa.

Autre précision concernant les versions standard et alt.

La version standard offre une meilleur compatibilité avec les NAND émulées mais ne supporte qu'un port USB et ne prend pas en charge le plug and play.
A l'inverse, la version alt est plug and play et prend en charge 2 ports USB mais offre une moins bonne compatibilité avec les NAND émulées.

I got the v8 Final, once unzipped into the Apps/d2x CIOS Installer folder and then launched => in select ios I have max <d2x v6>! How do I choose v8??

It's good folks, actually you had to extract the archive's content directly as is, with the folder inside

The slot incrementing at each press of the home button is a treat ^^

Nice work, since I switched to an HD console, it's good to come back to Wii

C'est bon les amis, en fait fallait carrément extraire tel quel le contenu direct de l'archive avec le dossier dedans

L'incrémentation des Slots à chaque appui du bouton home est un régal ^^

Du beau taff depuis que je suis parti sur console Hd, ca fait du bien de revenir sur Wii
