I find this wording ugly:
Media SD and USB formatted in fat32 with a 32kb allocation size

now I find this better:
An SD card and a partition on your hard drive formatted in fat32 with a 32kb allocation size

32Gb max in Fat32, beyond that it's ntfs or exfat. Easus lets you bypass this limit.
This 32Gb limit is imposed by Microsoft and doesn't correspond to the technical limit of this file system.

DiscEX can be used to prepare your Wii isos in sneek format.

So I tested this tutorial this morning and here's what I have to say:

- Problem after 5 minutes, impossible to dl SNEEKInstallerv0.7a-cred.rar. After looking into it, it turned out dyndns flags this file as spyware. dyndns removed, dl done.
The skin version might be easier to use to create your nand. I used it for the 1st time today and I liked it.

- note1: to avoid re-syncing your Wiimotes, copy the file /shared2/sys/Sysconf from your own real Nand dump and paste it into your emulated Nand /nands/pl_xx/shared2/sys <--these folders don't exist if you created a nand with modmii, so you have to create them before you can paste the file.

- I edited "Forwarders WiiFlow". Now the link points directly to the forwarder section.

Jiiwah is referring to modmiiskin, a graphical interface for modmii.

On my end, I tried neek2o with a nand dumped by wiiflow, it works perfectly.
This way I have better control over preparing my nand, since my main complaint about modmii is its lack of transparency.
As a reminder, neek2o or more generally uneek/sneek offers better compatibility than WiiFlow with WW/VC games on emulated nand.

This pack is ultimate in name only.

On the other hand I'm very intrigued by the files diosmios.bin, diosmioslite.bin and quadforce.bin.
I understood that these are the 00000008.app files renamed to abcd.bin but I still don't know how to use them.

All it took was asking, and good news, it's what I assumed it was.
You need a clean bc v6 on the emulated nand, neek2o will take care of selecting the right .bin file.
Obviously, diosmioslite.bin and quadforce only work on sneek2o and diosmios.bin only works on uneek2o.
If I've got it all right...

but the principle is there.

I'm lost

with neek2o, the sd is disabled in the (emulated) wii menu since the nand is on SD, so how can diosmioslite.bin (GC games on SD) work?

It's about WiiFlow's behavior with respect to Devolution and DM, if the GC backup is in DiscEX format and loader.bin is present, then Devolution will be used to launch the game unless you explicitly specify, game by game, to launch them with diosmios.
There's no global option to set this behavior, that's why Fix94 tells him to remove loader.bin in order to launch games with diosmios by default.
So these .bin files have nothing to do with WiiFlow, it's only a feature related to neek2o.
I don't know though how far this extends, is it only for DI, or can loader backups benefit from it too?

To be able to use Dios-Mios Lite, you need to rename the diosmioslite.bin file to diosmios.bin.
