DroidDeck: the Steam Deck interface and your Steam games on Android, without root
DroidDeck installs the real Steam client in Big Picture mode on Android, without root: your Windows games run through Proton and FEX, on Snapdragon chips.
The idea
DroidDeck, a community project, is at version 0.3.2 (8 October 2026). It runs, on an Android phone or handheld, the official Steam client for Linux ARM64, in the Big Picture interface, just like on a Steam Deck:
What you need
Good to know
Some variants of the app borrow the names of other apps (such as PUBG Mobile or benchmarking tools): this is deliberate, to trigger manufacturers' “performance” modes. Valve has not commented on the project, and performance depends heavily on the game and the chip. For console emulation on Android, see our guide Emulation on Android.

DroidDeck, a community project, is at version 0.3.2 (8 October 2026). It runs, on an Android phone or handheld, the official Steam client for Linux ARM64, in the Big Picture interface, just like on a Steam Deck:
- Windows games run through Proton (ARM64 version), the FEX-Emu emulator and DXVK, with the open-source Turnip graphics drivers;
- Decky plugins, a Linux desktop (LXQt), Steam Input with gyro, and the Quick Access menu;
- since 0.3.0, emulation of the Steam Deck controller.
What you need
- A Snapdragon device (Adreno GPU) running Android 9 or later: Mali, Xclipse and PowerVR chips show a black screen in 3D games.
- About 4 GB of space, and wireless debugging (ADB) once for the installation.
- Steam games that you own.
