Zelda Ocarina of Time on PC: Ship of Harkinian 9.3 adds a speedrun mode

The PC port of Zelda: Ocarina of Time reaches version 9.3.0: Ship of Harkinian adds speedrun modes and greatly expands its randomizer.

Ship of Harkinian 9.3.0, nicknamed “Dewey Alpha”, was released on 6 October 2026 by the Harbour Masters team, for Windows, Linux (including Steam Deck) and macOS. More than 500 changes, including:
The randomizer grows
New elements can be shuffled: signs, butterflies, boulders, silver rupees, icicles, the Treasure Chest Game, Zelda's Letter, Scarecrow's Song, masks… On top of that come a progressive Biggoron's Sword, reworked win conditions (Triforce pieces can grant different rewards) and a new enemy in the enemy randomizer.
What you need
Ship of Harkinian contains no game files: you need the ROM from your own cartridge of Ocarina of Time. A community adaptation for Android has already been updated to 9.3.0. For other emulators, see our guide PC emulation: the best emulators in 2026.
PaperBoat: Paper Mario 64 too
On 17 September the same team released PaperBoat, the PC port of Paper Mario on Nintendo 64, already updated to 1.0.2 on 28 September: a run button, adjustable action command difficulty, widescreen, HD texture packs, rumble and N64 save import. It requires the US ROM from your cartridge.

- Two modes, Speedrun and Speedrun Master Quest, with settings prepared together with the speedrunning community. A quest selection screen now appears when creating a new save.
- Skipping of all boss death animations, and more skippable cutscenes, with a more accurate time of day.
- Instant text, and more settings for the minigames.
- Better support for large audio packs.
