The M3 team not being the most responsive when it comes to making its OS compatible with the latest released games, woodM3 came into being thanks to the coder gaboro. (As a reminder... originally wood is an alternative OS created for R4 linkers and based on the official OS of the Acekard2(i)/AKAIO linker). With a similar idea in mind, manu-m3 and the gbalpha team decided to team up to modify (draw inspiration from) the latest version of moonshell (itself inspired by the excellent SAKURA OS) and make it compatible with commercial roms (which is not the case with moonshell).

La team M3 n'étant pas des plus réactive afin de rendre compatible son OS avec les derniers jeux sorties, woodM3 à vu le jour grâce au codeur gaboro. (Pour rappel... à la base wood est un OS alternatif crée pour les linker R4 et basé sur l'OS officiel du linker Acekard2(i)/AKAIO). Dans un même idéal, manu-m3 et la team gbalpha ont décidé de s'unir afin de modifier (s'inspirer de) la dernière version de moonshell (elle même inspiré de l'excellent OS SAKURA) et de la rendre compatible avec les rom commercial (se qui n'est pas le cas de de moonshell).
