A member of the ps3.gx-mod forum, who prefers to stay anonymous, offers a utility that allows creating firmware with the peek/poke patch and Geohot's.

Note: The software doesn't contain any firmware.Usage:
- Decompress the file.
- Download the official Firmware 3.55 and copy it into the folder: FirmOfficiel
- Download the "PS3UPDAT.PUP.bsdiff" Patch, rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP and copy into the Patch folder
- Download GeoHot's CFW 3.55, rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP and copy into the Geohot folder
- Launch FWAutoPatch.exe
- You then need to click on Test files to run a Checksum check on the firmwares. If the files are ok a second button becomes visible allowing you to launch the creation of the patched firmware.
When you click on this button it will create the firmware and test the checksum and will validate whether it's valid or not.
