[RESOLVED] Problem of long sync with the Wiimote and Wii...

Hello everyone and happy new year for 2012!

Here's the problem I'm having.
A friend brought me his wii for me to hack it (white wii on 4.3E). I followed the tutorial and installed the latest version of d2x, that is v7 final. Then, I installed Wiiflow r355.

Up to that point, no problem. When I launch Wiiflow, the wiimote's blue LED turns off and only turns back on several seconds after arriving on the games menu. Worse, if I press the "A" button, all the LEDs start blinking and the time for the wiimote to sync gets even longer!

Since I'd had the same problem on my wii (I had already posted about my problem on this forum) but it had disappeared after installing the d2x v7alpha5, I did the same on his. Alas, still this long sync issue

So I updated the d2x on mine (v7 final) which is also on 4.3E. Since then, I'm again facing the same problem! I reinstalled the d2x v7alpha5 or installed the d2x v8b1 (r40) but nothing worked, I'm losing hope...

I've searched the forum, no one seems to have this kind of long sync issue with Wiiflow. Help me, please :74:

Thanks in advance

Long sync, it takes 5 seconds, that's it!

You get used to it very quickly and I'm on 415

Thanks sniper3d and kalidor for your very quick answers!

For 5 seconds, I wouldn't even question it. For me, it's more like 30 seconds!

I'll test with 415 and keep you posted.

:100:
Indeed, with 415, the sync time is "much" shorter! :accord:
Now, the bug with french titles bothers me a lot (to put it mildly!)

So I reinstalled r355 and I have the beginning of an explanation for the very (very) long sync time.
By installing Wiiflow on the HDD (and no longer on the SD), and removing the latter from the Wii, I no longer have the problem!!! As soon as I insert the SD, the problem comes back :arff:
I should point out that on the 2 Wiis the SDs are of different brands. And they're not SDHC.
So, why, when the SD is inserted, is the sync time much longer?

:100: :100:
Well, here's where I'm at. Regarding one of the two SD cards, I reformatted it (still in FAT32) and there, no more long sync problem. However, the second one (mine, a Dane-Elec 2Go), no matter if I format it in FAT or FAT32, nothing works, always the same problem.

Conclusion: I think the problem (only under Wiiflow), comes from the SD card. Now, since I haven't always had the problem (e.g. with d2x v7alpha5), I also think there's an issue between d2x and Wiiflow.

I'm marking the topic as [RESOLVED].
