Good evening, Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is the DiscEx format?
I'm just starting to get interested in SNEEK/UNEEK and I only know it's used to emulate a nand.

the discEx is the format a game is in so it can be read by your emulated nand's disc channel thanks to the DiscInterface.

Up until now, to install a game on its emulated nand, so in discex format (you could say the iso is extracted into different folders and files usable by the emulated nand), you had to dump your game with neek, which gave us a raw image that then had to be converted to be usable on your nand. crediar's discex utility lets you do that, as does the ever more complete modmii!!

but thanks to this upcoming version of sneek, we'll be able to directly dump our games so that they're immediately playable via the DI!!

if you want to get into sneek, I recommend using modmii which has become very well developed for making an emulated nand and even more since neek2o came out!

le discEx est le format sous lequel est un jeu pour pouvoir être lu par lachaine disque de ta nand émulée grâce au DiscInterface.

Jusque là pour installer un jeu sur sa nand émulée, donc au format discex (on peut dire que l'iso est extraite en différents dossiers et fichiers utilisables par la nand émulée), il fallait dumper son jeu avec neek, ce qui nous donnée une image brute qu'il fallait ensuite convertir pour pouvoir l'utiliser sur sa nand. L'utilitaire discex de crediar permet de faire cela tout comme l'infini modmii!!

mais grâce à cette prochaine version de sneek, on pourra directement dumper nos jeux pour qu'ils soient immediatement jouables via le DI!!

si tu veux te pencher sur sneek, je te conseille d'utiliser modmii qui est devenu très aboutit pour se faire une nand émulée et même + depuis que neek2o est arrivé!
