brand new game on cracked wii?

good evening everyone.
so I cracked my wii not long ago, and I'd like to know if I can put new (bought) games back in it??
because I have a colleague who had a cracked wii and put in a brand new game and since then the hard drive doesn't work anymore! can new games make updates happen on the wii??
I hope you can help me, because my son wants the Beyblade game for christmas, and I wouldn't want an update!!!!

Hi, some games do include an update, but I doubt beyblade has one.

However, if you want to avoid the hassle, you need to have priiloader on your console to block all that.

Do you have it?

You start the wii while holding reset for 3 seconds.

If that's the case come back and we'll guide you, if you don't have it, you'll need to think about getting it.

Hi!

so YES, you can put new (bought) games in your wii!

but under certain conditions!

to avoid updates from dvds, you need priiloader installed on your wii and to disable updates from DVDs

a tutorial is available for that here:

afterwards if you ever do an accidental update of your wii, it's not too serious...

you redo the tutorial to crack your wii

so you'll have understood, yes, new games can perform updates on the wii (even fairly old ones actually)

actually I don't know if I have priiloader installed?
(because I'm a beginner, and honestly I don't really know how I managed to crack my wii, but hey it works, though my HBC is upside down!)
I'll check all that this week, with the tutorial you gave me
