The Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall (DOSPortToPS3)

As a way for us to have a bit of fun and discover or rediscover titles that are more than well-known, The Elder Scrolls, the imminent release of Skyrim gave me the idea to get the first two installments of the series running on PS3 via DOSbox.

This little project aims to get The Elder Scrolls games running properly on PS3

The first two installments of the series being free on the series' official site ( https://www.elderscrolls.com/ ) we can therefore afford to distribute and adapt them. Regarding The Elder Scrolls 3, I think we can straight away forget about a port given the insane amount of work that would require, the game is available commercially on PC

So here is The Elder Scrolls Arena as well as The Elder Scrolls Daggerfall, however both games work but are laggy for now, so don't hesitate to test different configurations in the dosbox-0.74.conf file and you can also map the keyboard buttons to your controller (a keyboard and mouse also works) with the mapper-0.74.map file, both are in the .dosbox folder in the /dev_hdd0/game/TESA00001 and TESD00001 folders (you can also map the buttons directly in-game with the L3 button, though you'll have to redo it every time the game starts with this solution). If you have better configs to share, post them right here, that will help improve the version offered.

Histoire de nous amuser un peu et de découvrir ou redécouvrir des titres plus que connu The Elder Scrolls, la sortie imminente de Skyrim m'a mis en tête de faire fonctionner les deux premiers opus de la série sur PS3 via DOSbox.

Ce petit projet a pour but de faire fonctionner les jeux The Elder Scrolls correctement sur PS3

Les deux premiers opus de la série étant gratuit sur le site officiel de la série ( https://www.elderscrolls.com/ ) nous pouvons donc nous permettre de les distribuer et de les adapter. Concernant The Elder scrolls 3 je pense qu'on peut de suite oublier un portage vu le boulot de fou que cela demanderai, le jeu est disponible dans le commerce sur PC

Voici donc The Elder Scrolls Arena ainsi que The Elder Scrolls Daggerfall, toutefois les deux jeux fonctionnent mais rament pour le moment, n'hésitez donc pas à tester différentes configurations dans le fichier dosbox-0.74.conf et également vous pourrez mapper les boutons du clavier sur votre manette (un clavier et souris fonctionne aussi) avec le fichier mapper-0.74.map les deux sont dans le dossier .dosbox dans le dossier /dev_hdd0/game/TESA00001 et TESD00001( vous pouvez également mapper les boutons directement en jeu avec la touche L3 toutefois il faudra recommencer à chaque démarrage du jeu pour cette solution). Si vous avez de meilleures config à donner, postez les ici même, cela fera évoluer la version proposée.
