Which version of Wiiflow should I use?

Hello everyone,

It had been more than a year since I'd last updated my Wii hack.
I was on Wiiflow 1.1 with cIOS rev17-19 and I never had any issues.
Except what had to happen happened, meaning I had for the first time a game that refuses to work properly.
Aside from Tintin and its protection, the brand new Kirby Returns To Dreamland freezes when choosing the save file.
After trying various configs and searching all over the net, I realized that I really needed to update my Wii.

My Wii is on 4.2J and I updated it with cIOS D2X v6.
I have a 320 GB HDD formatted in WBFS.
I haven't updated the HBC with IOS58 though.

Once updated, my Kirby launches wonderfully :D with....... CFG loader.

Since I've been a big fan of Wiiflow since the beginning, I'd like to stick with it but here's the thing:
I tested various 2.2 versions (rev355~417) and honestly it's not great.
Among other things:
- HDD detected randomly
- loader crashing when changing theme
- Wiimote disconnected when launching the loader

I don't know what else to do.....
Can't find a decent version of this loader, I miss my 1.1
All I want is a version:
- that handles IOS reload so I can play Sam&Max.
- cIOS D2X if possible
- and no wiimote desync. Sorry but waiting 20s at the start, I can't do that.

Version 417 seemed good but the desync bothers me and I couldn't get the Violet theme working.
I was advised to try 388 but I haven't found a complete pack for that release yet.

Sorry for this long post but I really need advice.
What version of Wiiflow do you recommend?
It's really a great loader, even though GX and CFG run perfectly, I don't like their look.
So, I'm wondering if I should just stay on Wiiflow 1.1 for my games and switch to CFG rev70 for the ones that don't work.
I would love to have all that in Wiiflow though :|

does 304 handle alt dol?
does 415 not have wiimote desync issues?

You take the pack 416+, in the apps/wiiflow folder, you remove the wiiflow.ini, you rename 415.dol to Boot.dol and put it in that folder.

Thanks ;)

I manage to get version 415 of Wiiflow working without too much trouble.
It stutters a bit in the flow but well not too serious.

I managed to use the Violet Grey theme that I had on 1.1.
However, a few questions:

- how do you disable the wiimote vibration? I seem to remember there was an option before.
- a way to go back to Wiiflow when you exit a game?
- I went through the trouble of getting the game list in french, but they show up in english!?

Thanks again ;)

hmmm it's not compatible with r415 though

Option removed, that's now disabled in the wii's general options
- a way to go back to Wiiflow when you exit a game?
Yes, there's an option for that, I won't tell you where for fear of telling you something wrong.

Well me too. I followed what I was told. Got the 416 pack + 415 dol.

@Jiiwah OK for the vibrations. Surprising. So, is there no more vibration in games?

There you go, you have to choose "vibrations everywhere" or "vibrations nowhere".
