Hello to all of you,

I'm coming back to you and I'm quite happy about it

, after some big health problems...
The Hack scene has moved a lot faster than me, and I have a bit of trouble keeping up now.
Since you're pros at this I won't hesitate

alright here I go:

- I'm on 3.41 with my ps3 (old dinosaur) ps3key and multiman 2.01. (that shows you how far behind I am lol) and my nephew is on 3.60, he asked me a few questions and unfortunately I couldn't answer him. Because apparently on 3.60 you can't do much anymore

-so can he go back to 3.55 or 3.41 after formatting the hard drive?

or

-by swapping his internal hard drive for another one, would that let him install an older version?

3rd question (more for me this one): can I get rid of my ps3key, and still be able to have "install package files" and "app_home/ps3_game/" available when starting my console, and if so through which version?

4th question (still for me

): what's the difference between 3.55 and 3.55cfw?

the last one: would you recommend the 3.55 version or can I stay comfortably on 3.41?

yes you can throw it out the window

3.55 is an official firmware (or ofw) and a Cfw is a custom firmware to run games without a dongle.

last one: do you recommend version 3.55 or can I stay quietly on 3.41?

go for 3.55 it's definitely better!!!

I'm back posting sooner than expected...

everything went really well for my move to 3.55cfw but as soon as I launch gaia manager or multiman I can't read the games on my external dd...

Also I didn't remove and reinstall gaia manager and multiman since my 3.55 move. Maybe that's what's wrong...

edit: error message 80010009 under multiman 2.01 (after putting the BDMU pkg 3.55) and black screen under gaia manager with version 2.02 apparently the one that makes version 3.55 work.
