PKG Toolkit GUI $n!pR offers us a new utility that will let you use Geohot's signing tools through a graphical interface.
You will thus be able to sign your ELFs and create your PKGs.
Usage:
Step 1, signing the ELF:
1. Select the .elf to sign.
2. Select the output .self (EBOOT.BIN).
3. Enter the Content ID (see example).
4. Click on Build.
Example:
Content ID - UP0001-XXXXYYYYY_00-0000111122223333
Change XXXX and YYYYY to the Title ID of the homebrew (game IDs look like - BLUS 12345).
If an error appears, make sure the selected .elf is in the right format, it must be a .ELF and not a .SELF. The Content ID must be the same as the one used when creating the ELF.
Step 2, creating the PKG:
1. Use the sample folder as reference (ABCD12345).
Rename the folder using the homebrew's Title ID (as explained above) (XXXXYYYYY).
2. Place the EBOOT.BIN created in step 1 into USRDIR.
3. Place all the files in the main PKG directory (this must be the folder created in step 2.1).
The files can be ICON0.PNG, ICON1.PAM, PIC1.PNG, SND0.AT3 etc.
4. Edit the PARAM.SFO found in the same folder (Title ID, Title, App Version, Data Type etc. of the homebrew).
5. Edit or create your new package.conf using the provided sample file.
You can rename it with the homebrew's Title ID.
6. Select the "input folder" created in the previous steps (e.g. ABCD12345/XXXXYYYYY).
7. Select the config file created in step 5.
8. Check that the Content ID under Build PKG matches the one in the package.conf file.
The Content ID must also match the one from step 1.
9. Click Build.
9. Cliquez Build.
