Because of the release of the Master Key, which I told you about yesterday evening, thanks to Graf_Chokolo, it didn't take long before an application appeared to create your own ID keys for your dongles. Well now it's done thanks to ESTX from PSX-scene. The "official" Teams who put their dongle on the market have something to worry about going forward according to this developer.

Very easy to use, here's how to go about it:

p3kg - Xtse / Linux
Description:

Generates a Dongle ID key based on the provided dongle ID.
Usage
./p3kg
Example
./p3kg 0xAABB
NOTE: must be 2 bytes (4 characters) and the 0x prefix
Note that 0x0AA won't work; 0x00AA will.

For Windows: NET 2.0

Same procedure as on Linux.

Code:
p3kgwn.exe 0xAAAB
Replace 0xAAAB with the desired device ID.

As a reminder, the .rar archive is for Windows and the .gz one is for Linux.

For those who don't know what this will actually be useful for, just know that each Team has its own identification key. Which means no one other than the official team can work on a specific dongle. With this software, all developers will be able to have a field day.
