PS3JB89 0.03.0001- PS3 Jailbreak TI-89 Titanium After the TI-94 version, Brandon Wilson now tackles the TI-89 Titanium by offering a payload based on PSGroove to allow jailbreaking your console using this calculator.

- This new version includes an "Emulate Jig" option that lets you put your PS3 into Service Mode and thus open the doors to downgrading from a PS3 3.50 to a firmware of 3.41 or lower.

- The status is shown at the bottom of the LCD screen. You can check exactly which step failed and act accordingly.
- The program has many configurable options to change how the jailbreak operates. These options are stored in a "CONF" file named "ps3jbopt", which can be stored to avoid RAM resets.
- External payload files are also supported. This means you don't have to recompile the program to use different payloads. These payloads are stored as "PAYL" files and can be selected via the PS3JB89 menu options:

- You can specify an external payload file by transferring it to your TI-89 and entering its filename in the "Stage 1" field, or you can press [2nd]+[-] to display the "VAR-LINK" menu and select the file.
- To convert a binary file containing the payload data into a "PAYL" file, you can check this documentation.
- PS3 firmware versions below 3.41 are supported through the use of "firmware compatibility files", which are external files that replace functions in the jailbreak to allow compatibility with lower versions.
- Select a compatible file matching your firmware and a payload suited to firmware 3.01 or 3.15, or possibly other firmwares below 3.41. You can find some of these so-called compatible files on this page.
- The connection of "device 6"(?) during the jailbreak can be enabled/disabled in the options. By default the option is disabled but can be useful with older payloads that still require the use of device 6. If you don't know what to do with this option, leave it alone.

Note: only works on OS/AMS version 3.10.
