Which PS3 and How does it work?

Hello everyone,

Like a newcomer, I'm entering SONY's world. I've never had a Playstation, but the PS3 hack interests me a lot!!... Actually it's only for God of War, Castlevania, and ... That's about it I think.

I have a few questions before buying anything:

- On which version of the PS3 does the hack work best?
- Which key should I buy to flash/hack the console?
- Which tutorial should I follow when starting with a blank PS3 and wanting to hack it A to Z, knowing that I'm resourceful but have never used a SONY console?

Any playstation 3 (slim or fat) with firmware 3.41, 3.15 .. (the hack doesn't work on 3.50 and 3.42), for now we can't Downgrade but that won't be long.

- Which key should you buy to flash/hack the console?

Personally I'd recommend the X3 Max but you can find alongside it ps3 key, ps3 break, or otherwise you could hack it with an ipod Touch 1G, ipod mini 1G/2G, Ipod Nano 1G (using Rockbox).

the ps3 hack is very simple and accessible, it's not as complicated as the wii's, so you'll manage easily, and we're here to help you.

Actually it's only for God of War, Castlevania, and ... That's about it I think.
