[TUTORIAL] Jailbreak your PS3 with your iPhone V1/3G

I\ Prerequisites

A) What you need

1) An iPhone V1/3G

2) Be on Firmware/iOS 3.1.2/4.0.0/4.0.1/4.0.2
Jailbroken with Redsn0w or blackra1n (NOT Spirit or jailbreakme)

3) A Playstation 3 on Firmware 3.41 ONLY!
Putting your PS3 on 3.41 for the Jailbreak
B) Installation

1) Plug your iPhone into your computer via USB

2) Download iPhodroid according to your version

* iPhone V1: Windows or Mac OS X
* iPhone 3G: Windows or Mac OS X

3) Extract the contents of Iphodroid with Winrar

4) You get an iPhodroid folder, open it!

5)Double-click on iPhodroid

6) Click on "Shoot!"

7) Wait until it's done then your iphone will restart on its own

8) Go to "install" by pressing the Power button then when you're on "install" press HOME

9) Wait until you see a penguin at the top

10) Press Power and HOME (at the same time) for 10 seconds, your iPhone restarts

C) Using the Hack and Backup Manager

1) ---->Download Backup Manager 1.1<---- and place it at the root of a USB drive in FAT32

2) Turn your PS3 off completely:
FAT = 0/I Button to 0
SLIM = Unplug the power

3) Plug your iPhone into the USB port of your PS3

4) Turn on your iPhone or Ipod, it starts on openiboot, choose android, several lines of code will show up, wait ... when you see the word INIT being written endlessly

5) Once the word INIT appears and repeats endlessly, plug the PS3's power back in and press POWER then EJECT within a second

6) If everything went well your iPhone or Ipod should display several lines and stop after 5/6 lines are shown

7) The PS3 starts up and you should have 2 new folders in the GAMES section of the XMB

8) Go to "Install Packages Files"

9) Then select manager.pkg

10) Wait for the installation to finish

11) you should see "Backup Manager" in GAMES

12) Launch it by pressing X and you'll get this image, go to "yes" and press X

13) Insert an original game into the drive. It will appear in the menu. Press O then choose whether it's a backup to be made on the internal hard drive or on an external hard drive of the Playstation 3.

14) When you see this image, go to "yes" then press X

15) Wait until the "Game Backup" is finished

16) Go to the game you want to play and press X to launch it

17) After a few seconds you'll come back to the XMB menu but it will be the "Backup" and not the game inserted in your drive

If you don't see 2 new folders that means you did the steps wrong
If you have an iPhone 3G and a PS3 Slim
