Custom MIOS rev03 is out!!!

Here we go, revision rev03 of the dumios patch for reading gamecube backups is getting an update

New features:
- The region free bugs are normally fixed
- games that worked in version 1 and didn't work in version 2 should work now
- The bugs in version 2, like the green screen when launching from the disc channel, have been fixed

Installation:
2 options: - network, launch boot.dol and select "network" when it asks you to select the installation method
- or by placing the file "RVL-mios-v8.wad" at the root of the SD card, you can find it online (I won't give a link since it's illegal) or you can dump it with Wiiscrubber from the game disaster day of crisis

Voili voilou , la version rev03 du patch dumios pour lire des backup gamecube se met à jours

Nouveautés:
- Les bugs de région free sonte normalement régler
- les jeux qui marcher dans la version 1 et qui ne marcher pas dans la version 2 devrait marcher maintenant
- Les bugs de la version 2 , comme l'ecrant vert quand on lancer a partir de la chaînes disque ont été corrigés

Installation :

The Mios V0.2 errors are fixed (green screen)! However multi-games still don't work from the disc channel!

Les erreurs du Mios V0.2 sont corrigés (écran vert) ! Par contre les multi-games ne fonctionnent toujours pas depuis la chaîne disque !

Of course multigame DVDs work from the disc channel, a "GameCube Backup Loader 1.1" screen appears, you just need to pick the game with the directional arrows.

Bien sur que si ça marche depuis la chaine disque les DVD multigames, un écran "GameCube Backup Loader 1.1" apparait, il suffit de choisir le jeu avec les flèches directionnelles.

What's this deal?
MultiGame works with MIOS rev 02. it's not a new feature of rev 03.

Waninkoko explains on his site that it's a bug fix (some games that worked on rev 01 no longer launched on rev 02). Rev 03 improves game compatibility.

Les MultiGame fonctionne avec le MIOS rev 02. il ne s'agit pas d'une nouvelle fonction du rev 03.

Waninkoko explique sur son site qu'il s'agit d'une correction de bugs (certains jeux fonctionnant en rev 01, ne se lançait plus en rev 02). Le rev 03 améliore la compatibilité des jeux.

Thanks for the info but now I have a question, which one of Wiigator's and Waninkoko's MIOS is the best? and is it possible to uninstall Waninkoko's to go back to Wiigator's?

Waninkoko's is better, you can switch between Disc Channel and Backup Loader. But with Wiigator's there's no disc channel. (With the 21 CIOS)

Celui de Waninkoko est mieux, tu peux jongler entre Chaine Disque, et Backup Loader. Mais sur celui de Wiigator pas de chaine disque. ( Avec les 21 CIOS )

Didn't understand?? sorry I launch my Wii and Gamecube backups from the disc channel.

However, "Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes" freezes after the Konami logo.

Avec la Rev 03, Resident Evil zero refonctionne.
Par contre, "Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes" gèle après le logo Konami.
Rien n'est jamais parfait
