Hello,

I installed wiiflow_2.0r120_222 on my wii 4.2, and like atupac, I have no music that loads at all, yet I did put a track in ogg format in the music directory...

-Do they need to be encoded in a certain way?

I also wanted to know how the Install a game option in the wiiflow menu works? Because when I run it, it tells me my partition is read only...

I should mention wiiflow is installed on a hard drive split into 2 partitions, the first in fat32 containing the wiiflow files, and the second in NTFS containing the games in wbfs format.

@atupac: you can't handle files bigger than 4go in fat32...

Combined answer for @atupac and @kenobytes:
- Music Fanart Trailers: It works very well, do you have the right paths in your wiiflow.ini??
ex: dir_music=sd://wiiflow/music

- No idea about the max size of a partition, one thing's for sure, no problem with a 1TB one, in WBFS, FAT32 or NTFS. No problem either with games over 4go on FAT32, the .wbfs file is split. Use for example WiiBackupManager.

- For WiiWare and Virtual Console there are 2 possibilities:
-- If they're on your NAND (menu) you need to use Wiiflow's "channel" option (an icon, find where it is, it varies depending on the theme used)
-- If they're on your emulated NAND you need to use ISO Forwarders. see iso-homebrew-wiiware-virtualconsole and/or autojaquettes-wii.

- atupac's Freeze: I don't see it, only whether it's with recent revs of wiiflow or since the beginning??

- Installing a game: Impossible on an NTFS partition, it's read only. For that you need to go through the PC. If it's a backup no problem, if it's an original, oh boy, you need a special reader on the PC, I forget the model.

@everyone: r125/r126/r127 pretty messed up, I won't upload them. testing r128...

1) Music Fanart Trailers: normally yes I have the right access directories in your wiiflow.ini:
You say =>dir_music=sd://wiiflow/music || I have => F:\apps\wiiflow\music
[is it normal it's not the same with the slashes, yet it's the original wiiflow.ini....]

2) that's what I thought too for 1TB. I didn't know WiiBackupManager could split wbfs files >4go!! => so, how does wiiflow manage to load the game?

3) For WiiWare and Virtual Console:

- the Wiiflow "channel" option => that must be the "return to" option in each game's options??
- To use ISO Forwarders on emulated NAND => do you need to go through Triiforce / Sneek first to access the emulated NAND?

4) Freeze: No, it's brand new! with revs 92a/120 it didn't do it. Since I added mp3+fanart+trailers+the "Returnto=WFJF" option I get these crashes...

-For installing games, thanks for the clarification about ntfs and wbfs, but never mind I'll stay on ntfs since I'm not going to use my hard drive exclusively for the wii ^^

my wiiflow.ini was properly set up.... so I looked into converting my mp3s, I was using SUPER@ and so I tried another mp3/ogg converter "free mp3 converter" and oh miracle they're properly recognized by wiiflow... it must be because of the header of the ogg file created by SUPER@.

1) Ok, for the Fanart+Trailers => it's fixed! it was just the wrong path, I had my eyes closed ^^

2) To return to wiiflow when you quit a game, is it indeed the wiiflow Forwarder's ID that needs to be added to the "Returnto=...." line??

3) For music: still no sound! ==> are we limited by the sound file's size?? I have two sound files (avatar.ogg and avatar.mp3) that are 4mo each!

@kenobytes: did you press something to get the music going? what size are your sound files?

EDIT for 3): There we go finally, the MUSIC plays (in r92) ^^ All I did was add a third sound file "arsenic.mp3" ==> as luck would have it that's the one that gets read first. The other files "avatar.ogg" and "avatar.mp3" are now read... Go figure ^^

Otherwise, in r120 it's annoying, the Data_Directory goes back to SD:/wiiflow... The wii/gc backup loader isn't bad though! It really rocks!

Hello,

When I try to update WIIFLOW (2.1r117) via the Internet the download goes fine but the save doesn't finish (I end up with a backup of the old boot.dol but no new boot.dol), I tried with WIIFLOW on the DD or on the sd card (note: reference install on the USB FAT32 DD), I tried several times without success.

I'm on WiiFloW 2.1r117 and as for me, when running an update, everything goes fine... it just tells me there's no update available!!!!!
However just a small detail: to launch the update, I have to press "B" and not "A".

Otherwise, in r120 it's annoying, the Data_Directory goes back to SD:/wiiflow... <-- what do you mean by that?? that it's not possible to put wiiflow on HDD? or that it's no longer in /apps/wiiflow/?? Either way you can set that

@OlivierTheBest: Sorry no idea, never done it. According to several testers it works.

@everyone: I just tested r130, no more code dump

but I found a small problem, some words can't be translated...
I'll upload everything needed soon

In summary
for wiitdb, press A on a game then + to see info then RIGHT on the cross to see the synopsis.
take a screenshot, Z with a GC controller
language.ini no longer exists
All the themes will be updated tonight I think. StarNight is ready, waiting for Benjay's.
I found an error, which means the wiitdb screen isn't translated but the language file you'll download is updated

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

Hello

so here I am again with my little problem, I don't have the Return to WiiFlow channel option, yet last week I set up 2 Wiis exactly the same and those Wiis had the option in Wiiflow, Help Me Please

EDIT: it finally works for returning to Wiiflow, I had to reinstall CIOS Rev 17, but now I have other issues, I no longer have the 3rd Option on the 3rd settings page and my covers are buggy and I no longer have access to my NTFS partition

what's going on?

normal for the missing option, it's been removed.
the empty slot will be replaced by another option.
with which rev do you get cover corruption??
