Yes Kyno's been talking about it for a while, but that doesn't mean he has exclusivity over the news.

Also, I don't think Kyno was around last night, we might not even have his news if that's the case.

And besides Kyno is the only active newser on the forum, another one wouldn't hurt I think.

if you install it as ios 60 full brick

it was regarding IOS60 6400 which is a stub but since the one being used is the 6174 I think I misunderstood

hello everyone I installed the cios with no issues but I don't see anything more compared to cios rev 17, but games already all worked with open wiiflow, well there are a few games I had to run in cios 222 like metroid rabbids go home etc a big thanks to waninkoko anyway but every cios he says improvement of this that and the other when everything worked fine for me since his first cios well anyway we owe him respect for his work and it's thanks to him that we have the usb loader

I'll install cIOS 222 installer v5 and test that. On the other hand SSBB no longer launches with the Gecko :s (but I had cIOS 222 installer v4) so I'll see what that gives.

Edit: Question: Can cios 222 installer v5 be installed before putting rev 18 on?
Edit: I have the menu, but when I launch Metroid prime 1.... Wii Menu

(Ios 249 and 250 = Insert the Disc; Ios 223 = Freeze; Ios 222 = Wii menu)

Good evening, tried with cios rev 17 and ios 222 and open wiiflow and non wiiflow and it runs perfectly, anyway I don't want to go off topic or if I do join me on another topic for this issue, otherwise what does rev 18 change besides invisible improvements compared to the old cios, let me elaborate example improvement sdhc.......................... it already worked before, sdhc I think there's a lot of talk and nothing at all changing if anyone disagrees let them give me an example of something cios rev 17 can't do compared to cios 18 and no need to do a changelog comparison because I consider there's a lot of talk I'd like a concrete example let's not forget all this is used to read our backups of our "original" games, nevertheless I greatly respect the work of mister Waninkoko and we thank him for his work.
(small question: is it normal that the external hdd isn't read on the other usb port of the wii? maybe for cios rev 19)

Yes that's normal, it's intentional. The other port is meant for hardware/instruments like for example the mic for Animal crossing

after installing cios rev 18 wad files no longer want to install error 1029 memory weird I'll probably go back to rev 17
