hi I looked on wiigen and here to update my wii but I'm having problems with my usb loader gx (same thing happens with another usb loader) -> error 002 appears every time I launch a backup.

here are the changes made:
-starting wii on 4.0E waninkoko with cios rev "below 14", cios pack v2 fixed for v4, preloader 029, boot mii2 as boot2 and cmios for GC
observation: everything works except:
two recent games launched via usb loader gx (TMNT smash up gives a black screen, and metroid prime trilogy asks to insert the disc) / but for example fifa or muramasa or even mini ninja work perfectly...
usb loader gx detects the hdd only every other time (not a big deal, I got used to it)
the other usb loaders don't work with my hdd

-wii on arrival: 4.1E waninkoko with cios rev 14, cios pack V3.4 dmm, preloader 029, boot mii public beta4 and cmios GC.
observation:
all the games launched by usb loader give an error 002
the usb loaders detect my hdd instantly! but error 002, not just on the two games like before Cry
NB: the games or backups launched via disc work without error.

so there you go, I probably should have refrained ^^ it's really cool to have my hdd detected more easily but if it can't read anything properly anymore that sucks!
(worst case I have my 4.0 nand backed up but I would have liked to be up to date and have all the games work)

Press Home to exit

To finish, restart into the preloader by doing a power reset, then go to system menu hacks and set these hacks to enabled:
No health check
Skip disc update check
Move Disc Channel
Region free channels_1 Only for system menu v4 and V4.1
Region free channels_2 Only for system menu v4 and V4.1
Remove diag disc check
Autoboot Game press RIGHT on gc pad in 4th port
Region free channels-SD card menu Only for system menu v4 and V4.1
Region Free Wii Discs
region free Wii games_1
Region free Wii games_2
Region free GC Games
Remove NoCopy Protection
do save settings
then B, then launch the system menu

There, it's done!!

I recommend doing this so you can launch Guitar Hero 5 if you couldn't manage it

A very good one, the usb loader gx it evolves depending on the games that come out!!

Darn it, but I don't know why, but The Beatles won't work on 3.4 whereas it did on 3.3 fix (disc channel), and on 3.4 via the disc channel, Wii Fit Plus USA doesn't work, Rockband Metal Pack USA doesn't either... woow, and Where's Charlie USA (blank games xD) doesn't work either...
