Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Unfinished Business 3DFX Voodoo 3 Patch (2026)
This new exe allow to launch Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Unfinished Business on Pure MS-DOS using your real 3DFX Voodoo 3 GPU !
Full GPU acceleration, expect 30 fps along with a decent CPU (from Pentium II 233Mhz).
1) Copy and replace TOMB.EXE and TOMBUB.EXE to game folder
2) Make sure to use XMS Memory under Pure DOS
3) Run TOMB.EXE the game will use your Voodoo3 for all 3D rendering.
Note: All issues of the original "Voodoo Rush" patch has been fixed on this one :
- Gamma fixed ! The game is now very bright
- Shadow fixed ! Lara now have a shadow under her body
- Pistols effects fixed ! No longuer any glitch
- Inventory crash fixed !
Many bugs fixes related to last reports
Now support F1, F2, F3, F4 options :
F1: Switch between 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768 resolution (will start at 800x600 by default)
F2: Show FPS
F3: Anti-aliasing ON/OFF
F4: Texture filtering ON/OFF
Can you please indicate when a file has been changed? You do have a changelog of sorts... but that should get an update every time something changes, not just when some big feature gets added. I only learned about the last update over on Vogons. Having to check across multiple forums is pretty far from ideal, and redownloading every file every day just to see whether something changed isn't realistic either. Same goes for all your other patches too.

It was designed and tested only with a Voodoo 3.
However you can try on the V2, i have no idea since i don't have any others 3DFX cards.
One thing sure it won't work with a Voodoo 1.

There is no changes, i've only added the english version of the 2 exes.
I will mention when there is a specific update on bugs fixes.
