The russian version has been (very) badly dubbed during cutscenes (russian voices over english voices).
It's recommanded to use the English Voices.
To have english voices and russian texts: setup_russianwithEnglishVoices.reg then launch the game.

I discover that you also made episode IV made by the team of former developers of the defunct studio Cryo Interactive.
The game is quite rare now and is only sold in its original box version.
From what I remember it's a native Windows game... Not simple to get running either.

Le jeu est rare à présent et il n'est plus en vente que dans sa version boîte d'origine.
De mémoire c'est un jeu natif de Windows... Pas simple à faire tourner en plus.

I would love to do it but I would need help from the creators because all the beta/removed content isn't present in the game's files. I don't really have contacts among Cryo's former staff since 2018 anymore. But it's clearly something that will be worth trying to do in the future.
Notably I know that on the last area of the game, Atlantis island, there's a whole section with an hourglass and actions that affect time. Unfortunately all that was removed from the game.
There's also a bug right at the end with some dialogue that ended up in English in the French version, which I'd have liked to fix. But again I don't have the files.

J'adorerai le faire mais j'aurai besoin de l'aide des créateurs car tout le contenu beta/supprimé n'est pas présent dans les fichiers du jeu. Je n'ai plus trop de contacts avec des anciens de Cryo depuis 2018. Mais c'est clairement quelque chose qui sera à essayer de faire dans le futur.
Notamment je sais que sur la dernière zone du jeu, l'île d'atlantis, il y a tout un passage avec un sablier et des actions qui influent sur le temps. Malheureusement tout ça a été supprimé du jeu.
Il y a aussi un bug tout à la fin avec certains dialogues qui ont été mis en anglais sur la version française, j'aurai aimé le corriger. Mais pareil je n'ai pas les fichiers.
First of all, I have to tell you that I'm super happy to be able to replay this game which I bought back when it came out.
The only problem I have is that it doesn't always start on the first try. I sometimes have to try several times before I get into the game. I often get a white screen that appears and then disappears.
It ends up launching but it's a bit annoying. My computer is very recent. Maybe a bit too fast

Tout d'abord, je dois vous dire que je suis hyper content de pouvoir re jouer à ce jeux que j'ai acheté par ailleurs à sa sortie.
Le seul problème que j'ai, c'est qu'il ne démarre pas toujours du premier coup. Je dois parfois essayer plusieurs fois avant de me retrouver dans le jeux. J'ai souvent un écran blanc qui apparait et puis qui disparait.
Il finit par se lancer mais c'est un peu pénible. Mon ordi est très récent. Peut-être un peut trop rapide

* I've tried running this on a Win7 64bit laptop, but Atlantis4.exe again doesn't run. I get the same error message:

* Finally, I've tried a few resolutions in the config file (atlantis4.cfg) with no success. For some reason the game doesn't crash, but there's not any display. "Atlantis4.exe (32 bit)" shows as a background process in Task Manager, but doesn't do anything...

Run a search for logos.txt (you might find several of those, depending on the language you previously installed with the .reg file)
Make a backup copy of logos.txt
Open logos.txt with Notepad
Empty all the text from the file and save it

An ultra rare version, I didn't even know it existed!
It's an edition that contains the game's 1.1 patch pre-installed (a patch which, to my knowledge, is nowhere to be found).
The developers fixed a few bugs here and there and above all fixed the issues related to the game freezing on startup.
So my old patch is now obsolete since the official fix already solved the problem.
I always thought the game never had a patch/update and that only 3 versions existed.
The 2004 CD one, the DVD one which was actually just the CDs bundled together, then the "modern-mobile" version which was a rubbish version with the mini-games removed and a new interface.
In reality no, there did exist another DVD version released in 2008 based on the 1.1 patch released a month after the game's release.
Yet I can't find this patch anywhere. But it did exist nonetheless.

Désormais la perfect edition est basée sur la version 1.1 DVD du jeu.
Version ultra rare, je connaissais même pas son existence !
C'est une édition qui contient le patch 1.1 du jeu préinstallé (patch qui à ma connaissance est introuvable).
Les développeurs ont corrigés quelque bugs ici et là et surtout réglé les soucis liés au blocages du jeu au lancement.
Du coup mon ancien patch est obsolète étant donné que le correctif officiel réglais déjà le problème.
J'ai toujours cru que le jeu n'avais jamais eu de patch/mise à jour et que seul 3 versions existait.
Celle CD de 2004, celle DVD qui était enfaite juste les CD regroupés puis la version "moderne-mobile" qui était une version pourri avec les mini-jeux supprimés et une nouvelle interface.
En réalité non il a bien existé une autre version DVD sortie en 2008 basée sur le patch 1.1 sorti un mois après la sortie du jeu.
Or ce patch je n'en trouve l'existence nulle part. Mais il a bien existé pourtant.
