First of all, you need to check the minimum firmware accepted by your console.

With this little tool: You'll need to extract the contents of the .rar archive to the root of a USB stick in FAT32.

Plug the stick into the PS3, launch the update from the USB stick.

Don't worry, the tool won't do an update, it will just show you what minimum version is supported by your console.

Let us know the firmware it shows you.

If it says 3.55 or lower that's good.

On the other hand you'll need to downgrade the PS3 if it's capable of supporting a firmware of 3.55 or lower.

If it shows a higher firmware => it's dead it's not hackable.

Il faut tout d'abords, vérifier le firmware minimum accepté par ta console.

Avec ce petit utilitaire : Il faudra extraire le contenu de l'archive .rar au root d'une clef USB en FAT32.

Branche la clef sur la PS3, lance la mise à jour depuis la clef USB.

Rassure toi l'outil ne fera pas de mise à jour mais te montra quel version minimale est supporté par ta console.

Tiens nous informé du firmware qu'il t'affichera.

Si c'est écris 3.55 ou inférieur c'est bon.

Par contre il te faudra downgrader la PS3 si elle est capable de supporter un firmware 3.55 ou inférieur.

Si ça indique un firmware supérieur => c'est mort elle est pas hackable.
