It's all in the title and I'm the fastest!

So, everyone jumped on the USB loader leak, without really knowing how to make it work..

And the release has finally come out!

Enjoy everyone, as I'm writing this a lot of people are testing this "good" news!

If you ever get a bug with your HDD, let me explain, if your HDD is 400 gigs and it only recognizes 50 gigs, this is normal, the rest isn't lost, it's just a bug at the usb level, you can still use the whole of your HDD

there I dumped castelvania judgement in 15 min works perfectly combined with cios_usb2 beta3 superb

Works perfectly I launched castelvania

if your USB key or your hdd isn't in the right format the usb loader v1.0 will offer to format it superb really

on my 400 gb hdd it only sees a 50 gb partition is that normal?

I don't want to say anything silly hilo, but if you have almost nothing on it, format your hdd, that might be the cause...

I don't think there's a restriction on the number of gigs..

But from what I've seen on a blog channel, 3.2 works flawlessly.

PS: For my part I went through waninkoko's upgrade for 4.0, I recommend the same ^^

well I used the usb loader v1.0 to format my hdd it was originally in ntfs

on 3.2??!!?? that's impressive, and here I was reading tutos to switch to 4.0. I'll wipe a drive and test this. Although, I can't manage to dl the loader, there must be a lot of people on it.

Apparently it's a bug, you can use all the space, even if you only see 50 gigs.

And there you go, everything is installed and it works perfectly on 3.2

The software offered to format my partitions. It clearly saw my 2 parts.

And now I'm installing a game, estimated time: 15 min.

I think it's a FAT (16 or 32) format so we should surely be able to copy files via the computer's file manager. (Just for info, on PS2 the drive has a special format so you need to go through specific software to transfer games)

He does it with his SD, so he dumps from his sd, onto his HDD.

Otherwise I believe this version doesn't let you read isos, just dump.

If someone tested an iso correct me, but from my sources that's exactly it, we can't add isos yet.

Flawless, tested on a Wii 3.2E with cIOS36 rev9 & cIOS USB2 beta3 with the game Mario Kart Wii (Dumper) and a 500GB HDD made by LaCie, No lag to report, but however impossible to copy a Dumped game from PC to the HDD, do you have a solution? it's really awesome as they say

and otherwise do you think there will be a compatibility list or should everything run smoothly?

A dump creates an ISO file, if I'm not mistaken ^^ but you need to know how to transfer all that, now.

A dump is an operation that consists of displaying the hexadecimal content of a file or a memory area.

Like dumping the Nand if I'm not mistaken.

According to his video he copies to sd, and launches it via usb loader...

A solution for taking isos from the pc to his HDD, I think we need to wait for an UPDATE, but I'll keep you posted if I find a solution ^^

Small last minute clarification and this will make a lot of people happy and I found it all by myself ^^

1. No need to have the original Game in the Wii to be able to play with the Dump
2. You can also dump your Backups with the USB LOADER

(Tested with TV Show King Party (PAL)

Dump done in 12 min (it surely depends on the game's size)

I plugged the drive into a pc running linux, it doesn't recognize the partition, which is quite unfortunate. So it's not in FAT, NTFS or EXT.
So we can't use this partition for movies or music or roms or ...
