Miyoo Mini Plus V2: a much more powerful Rockchip processor
The Miyoo Mini Plus V2 is available: the small emulation handheld keeps its form factor and screen, but moves to a Rockchip RK3562 processor.
What's new
Released on October 15, 2026, earlier than the announced late October, the Miyoo Mini Plus V2 changes only one thing, but an important one: the processor. The first version's SigmaStar SSD202D gives way to a Rockchip RK3562, paired with a GPU, the Mali-G52 2EE.
Specifications
What to expect?
Up to the PS1, the Mini Plus already did a very good job. The new processor could make some Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and PSP games playable, but the 128 MB of memory severely limits these systems: don't count on them. Alternative firmware such as OnionOS or community distributions will also need to be adapted to this new processor, which will not happen overnight.
As always, buy the console on its own, without a preloaded games card: preloaded games cards are precisely what the games industry now holds against Anbernic. Put copies of your own games.
