Patches, fixes and PC games: using our downloads properly

The PC section of Tgames brings together hundreds of programs, patches and games shared by the community. Here's how to enjoy them safely.


What do you find there?

• Patches (fixes) that bring back games whose servers have closed or no longer work on recent systems. Our video on the online patch for Friday the 13th: The Game is a good example, to find on our YouTube page.
• Software and utilities: tools for consoles, file managers, converters, drivers...
• Free PC games free, free or abandoned by their publishers, shared in respect of licenses.

Good reflexes

• Read the entire thread: instructions, compatible version and latest messages often contain the information you need.
• Run every executable through your antivirus before opening it, even shared by a trusted member.
• Make a backup copy of a game's files before applying a patch to it.
• If a link is no longer working, report it in the thread: a member or the team can replace it.
